Will be interesting to see the new business idea...good luck with that too x0 -
Thanks Taxi!
Couldn't do the wretched meter readings last night as B Gas site had a problem and I couldn't log in. Now means I have to remember to read it again tonight and try again.
Slow cooker is full of beef stew and should be switching itself on about now - I'll make dumplings to go with it when I get in I think if I can be bothered!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Stew was indeed lovely! Couldn't be bothered to make dumplings though - I made yorkies instead!
I think I have the start of a cold - I have a sore throat and am feeling slightly icky IYKWIM - I'm employing the mind over matter approach, plus echinacea and asking the universe to take it away as I don't have time or inclination for a cold at the moment! Will take a Vitamin C tablet this evening as well.
Finished the logo for my new business idea last night - did two different colour options and the one that OH and I thought would work, really didn't, so went for the other one. Now got to get it into a useable format so I can use it on documents. Oh, and get a template sorted for an invoice too as I need to do one of those for the firm I am working for at the moment. Hopefully there will be some more work coming from them as they are indicating that they have been pleased with me.
Avon still going well - have passed the higher order value now which means increased commission. Also picking up some of Mum's old customers who don't currently have anyone repping their area. I can keep them on the basis of friends and family too which will be useful. Next lot of books go out tonight, those will be the last I'll get back before order cut off. I've also managed to get all my orders to date input into the Avon system too - my sales leader is coming over on Monday evening to help with the finalising of that.
All in all, things seem to be going quite well. It occurred to me last night that I currently feel more contented with life than I have done in my last job for the past 4 - 5 years.....which is reassuring in a way.
50 day challenge progress:
1) Ask the Universe for a copy of The SecretThanks to Scottishlass I have a copy of the ebook.
2) Overhaul my wardrobe. Not exactly sure how I'm going to get on with this yet, but I think for a start it's going to involve getting rid of some of the suff that's really tired, or simply doesn't fit, and isn't likely to again. Also getting alterations done where needed. Various grey and saggy items from a certain drawer are finding their way to the bin!
3) Complete Logo & Leaflets for my new business idea. (And actually tell you lot what I'm planning. I have a couple of small jobs to do with it first but then I hope to feel "right" enough about it to tell all!) Logo DONE!
4) Get at least three regular clients for my business.
5) Continue with the grocery challenge & eating healthily

Well done on the undies drawer. I did the 2nd pass through my undies collection yesterday, and just did another pass through the cosmetics and toiletries this morning, so decluttering is progressing nicely here too. Moving hotel tomorrow, so if it's less to carry too, it's going to help.
Sounds like Avon is going really well, congrats on getting through the high order value. Are you able to pick up your mum's old area too, if there isn't a rep, or would it be too much, or impractical due to distance etc ?0 -
Well done SE - sounds like you're getting there as well! I guess having to relocate stuff is a good incentive too!
Mum has contacted a load of her old customers who she got to know really well, who can therefore classify as "friends" which means I can deal with them even though they are not in my territory, at the moment I have plenty to do with the area I have, and the ones I'm gaining from Mum are also hopefully reliable orderers, so best of both worlds I think!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Well done on the Avon, lookg forward to hearing about your business as well, sounds exciting. Hope the sore throat doesn't develop.0
-
Thanks YB! I'm telling the sore throat to bog off and leave me alone!
Off to bed now - shower, early night and vitamin C tablet will go a long way to sorting me out I'm sure!
Just had a text from one of Mum's old Avon customers confirming that she's going to place an order! :j:j🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hey Essex, just catching up with your diary - going to try out those recipes, have copied and pasted them to email to myself! What kind of milk do you freeze? I tried to freeze skimmed milk before but it came out looking yellow so I binned it - am I a numpty or what?!0
