I think there is an announcement coming from the FSA, but unfortunately - it's not going to be good news. I'm not willing to divulge my source, but come the 24-28th of January, whoever's going to be battling it out in that Courtroom - it's not going to be the FSA and the BBA. Pi**ed off is putting it mildly.

Fair enough if you aren't going to divulge the source but what is the actual news.0 -

A quick Google of recruitment companies shows plenty of vacancies for PPI Case Officers / Complaints Handlers on the Lender side. There are no rumours on redundancies within Complaints Departments so what could the bad news be?0 -

If it's not the BBA and the FSA, I guess the JR papers must be wrong...
Feeding a snippet of information proclaiming bad news is not really helpful on a public forum.0 -

I totally agree.
If it isn't to be FSA & BBA in the courtroom then it's more than a little odd that the Administrative Court hosting the affair don't know anything about it. They confirmed only 20 minutes ago that the case, BBA v FSA & FOS ref no CO/10619/2010 (the same ref no as in the BBA's JR application), is indeed scheduled to begin on 25 January.0 -
