You would only have to seemingly justify you honesty and integrity (being a CMC) on sites like this as its not really about advertising business and its one whereby some help others (free of charge) to claim back their PPI on their own. Each to their own TBH but mostly these claims can be done so easily by the consumer with no help from any CMC.

You can surely see why CMC's do have a bad name. Its all the cold calling they do (often giving you data that they should not have got hold of) and "telling" consumers they DO have a claim regardless of how they feel about it. Also the fact that they have rules to follow too (which is why consumers are putting claims in cause the banks did not follow them) and lots do not follow MOJ rules.

I dont cold call! i hate it! yes you can "d.i.y" well you can "do your own shopping" "wash your own car" "walk your own dog" "take your own children to school" as well! but people don't! either from lifestyle difficulties, work commitments, pure lazyness or pure lack balls to do it! thats where i step in. Simples!!

sorry but you may have the figs wrong here

like any service/product you pay VAT on its charged on the actual amount at said percentage... not on top

    so for your example

    its not 25% + 17.5% = 42.5%

    but 25% (+17.5% of that) which = approx 29%

    Im 25% inclusive of vat!

Just goes to show why some hate CMCs so much... it's actually maybe because they do nt understand them and go by myths.

Why dont we all work together?

I thought I was doing the same thing as the CMCs... taking on the banks for normal people?

I like the analogy about the car wash.... should be all be raging about those pesky hand car wash places that charge you a tenner to simply put hot water and soap in a bucket and spend 5 mins doing what you could at home? lol

Horses for courses people... we all need to stick together when fighting the banks.

dont worry, if you have had an upheld letter you WILL be paid, just be patient.

and keep bugging them on that 0845 number.

they are not holding anything that is upheld for sure.
I haven't received the upheld letter. LLoyds TSB Customer Care told me on the phone 4 times that my claims had been upheld and that Acceptance Slips had been sent out 8th October. After about 3 weeks of my phoning to enquire where the Acceptance Slips were they admitted that the Slips had not been sent out as promised and that they couldn't tell me when a letter would be sent to me as all on held pending the judicial review. :(

whoever told you that is talking rubbish, we have heard that many times on this thread, but the fact remains all claims are not on hold and lloyds are still paying out.

just be patient is the only advise i can give you, they have a massive backload... created entirely on purpose of course.

but you will be paid if 4 seperate people told you it had been upheld.

WELL SAID! we must work together against the common evil!
As i have said, i used to do this for free!!! now its my living! i used to be a holiday rep in good resort! (not 18/30 before you ask) and that taught me how to deal with the public and private business's (i.e accm owners-restaurants-bars and punters)

Thanks for this - it seems to me from other threads that the best way to get paid is to involve Eric Daniel's. Does anyone have his email address??
  • His email address should be mentioned on an earlier page on this forum - but don't bother.
I sent him several emails and never even got an acknowledgement!
