Until i hear from a reliable source, i just look on here to see if there is anything new. Maybe others are the same?.

The "Money" section in The Times on Saturday had some comments on the banks putting PPI claims on hold...
"Now that the PPI racket has been blown apart, it appears that Lloyds and others want to wriggle out of having to pay recompense for their disdeeds. This is unacceptable. The situation is made worse by the fact that Lloyds is 41% owned by the taxpayers. One branch of Government is effectively defying the rules laid down by another".
Also on another forum the following comment has been made...
"no complaints currently under consideration should be effected by the JR as the ''new'' rules governing complaints handling which are the subject of the Judicial review don't come into effect until December"
I have forwarded these comments amongst others to my MP and urged you all to contact your local MP also.0 -

I'm not sure how The Times can describe Lloyds and the FSA as branches of Government.
Lloyds is a Public Limited Company - regardless of who it's shareholders are - and the FSA is an independent non-governmental body, given statutory powers by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and a limited company in it's own right.0 -
