They should explain in plain english as to why a complaint is being held and give their reasons for it like when they reject a PPI complaint. This is hardly treating the customer fairly so maybe complaints in to the FSA also. If the FSA get enough treating customers fairly complaints they may get off their !!! and do something.

Try emailing the FSA on this, good idea.

FOS are to put a lot more staff onto PPI complaints.

Bumper payday in store for them... as they get close to £500 for each case.

Can't see how the banks will win this war.
They may be going halves.... ??? All a big set up!!!

not when they uphold 90 odd % of cases in favour of the client :money:
  • As it's Friday and we've all had a hard week, on a lighter note.......

A man walks into a bank and says to the cashier at the window, "I want to open a F'ing bank account"
To which the lady replied, "I beg your pardon, what did you say?"
"Listen stupid, I said I want to open a F'ing bank account right now."
"Sir, I'm sorry but we do not tolerate that kind of language in this bank - I suggest you take your custom elsewhere!"
"Oh yeah?" the man replied "Get me the manager!"
The cashier left the window and went over to the bank manager and told him about the situation. They both returned and the manager asked, "What seems to be the problem here sir? Firstly, we do not tolerate any abusive customers and we certainly take verbal assaults on our staff very seriously - we do not want any customers being threatening to our staff as we hold our cashiers in the very highest regard - they are the very soul of our business"
"There's no damn problem," the man said, "I just won £50 million in the lottery and I want to open a F'ing bank account in this damn bank!"
"I see sir," the manager said, "and this cow is giving you a hard time?"

Have a fantastic weekend folks and I look forward to resuming the fight next week.......

    Regards,

    TBD.
