Will be interesting to see what IceSave's response is to todays surprise MPC decision to increase the BOE rate from 5% to 5.25%.
Strictly speaking their guarantee means they are only bound to increase their rate to 5.50% (BOE + 0.25% until Oct 2009), a diff of 0.05% from the existing 5.45%. They were also very quick to respond last time, although the BOE rise was much better 'flagged' last time than this.
So, if and when...;)0 -
I am watching them closely. Hope they do not turn out to be another ING.-Keep your eyes to the sunshine and you would not see the shadows-

It would appear that ICICI has already increased its HiSave rate by 0.2% to 5.65% with immediate effect (11/1), according to its web site.0

wow. Good on icesave
I`m going to make sure both our accounts are fully loaded0 -
I joined Icesave about a month ago, just paying by cheque a small amount to see how things went and if everything was set-up OK.
Today I decided to test a withdrawral, and went through the process.
I gave the final click to confirm everything and the next screen went back to the welcome page.
I was expecting to see something like "transaction approved" or something similar.
Is this the normal thing or has the transaction failed.
It`s OK having a great interest rate but if you can`t get at your money when you need to,what`s the point.0
