I found an unexpected deposit in my account of £65.60 from NPower yesterday, so all you NPower customers check your accounts!

I haven't had any communication from NPower at all!

We had a refund last week too, but it was because they have recalculated our monthly DD (reduced) as we have in the last few years reduced our gas and electricity usage greatly. Nice £79 back AND lower monthly payments.

Know we're going to the winter quarter but my OH does keep records of our readings and we pretty much use the same each week iykwim looking back, and as last winter was soooo cold, we used to huddle round the candle. If it got particularly cold, we would light it... ;)

The overpayment letter referred to in this thread arrived today. Had to log in and verify my address - same address as I am now - still their customer and we're getting £25-odd. :D

I got a letter today, quite unexpected as hadnt heard anything about this previously. Apparently I am due back £21.24 but have to provide account numbers and dates of supply. As I am a bit of a "tart" when it comes to electricity supply I have no idea?? Will try phoning tomorrow.
    WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbs
    Weight today = 17st 6.5lbs
    Loss to date 32.5lbs!!!
  • Kiwichick - don't worry - you have the info they ask for in the letter. If you go online it'll ask your surname, postcode and the reference number in the letter - do that, it will bring up your record with them and it's one "confirm" button. I did this yesterday (after rummaging to find the paperwork and didn't need it)

  • Does anyone know how the compensation is being calculated?

I have been back over my bills and reckon I'm due more than double what I've been offered even before interest.

Apart from using the date of joining npower, exactly how they are
calculating the refunds hasn't been clearly explained. Would you mind telling us your month of joining npower ?

I got mine as well, £71.43. I was really surprised as I couldn't remember being with NPower during that time, gone through my bank statements and couldn't find any dd's to them.

Lovely little gift to myself coming up

The amount that is being repaid has been described as a lottery as it is based on the date of joining npower and some are querying the amount they have received. I think you hit the jackpot susiecm :D
