big brands for less ood short dated food

I received an e-mail from TNT today asking if my order had items missing or if I had someone else's items from my Big Brands delivery. Really strange! So I've e-mailed BB instead as I am not sure the e-mail is genuine. Has anyone else had an e-mail from TNT asking the same thing?

I am sorry i didnt order more beans....:rotfl:

I will not be using then regularly like i do with approved foods....as there isnt much variety there.. but if something good gets added at an extremely bargin price, then i will order

Were they labelled?

One box of mine had the rebranded Big Brands label on and the other box had a sheet in of a photocopy of a label, none at all on that 20.

Best I make sure I leave them in the box unless I find a marker pen and write on them all.

Order arrived yesterday. 13 days between ordering and delivery, most packets ripped or crushed, half of the order missing. I have emailed but no reply, not impressed will not be using again.

I had some of the scone mix in my order, the packets have had 'big brands for less' labels stuck over the suppliers branding to de-identify them. I can quite understand this de-identifying but what I dont understand is why the original date on the bag has a label stuck over it the BBFL label says BBE Jul 10 underneath it printed on the bag it says BBE Apr 10, when purchasing the products I knew it was likely to be OOD so why do they need to do this? I have cooked up some of the scones and they were fine.
