    I spoke to them this morning at 0830 and ask why my order had been cancelled without an explanation.:eek:
    Customer service excuse was
    sorry madam an error on our part now let me see "yes out of stock":rolleyes:

    so why not an email telling me this and asking if I'd like to keep this order while awaiting stock?;)

    :o dont know I will email dispatch and ask this question and email you right back.

    I look forward to that and still waiting :mad:

    I know amazon dont have to honour mistakes, so I dont understand why they have for some (well done to those who got them) but not for other's, and to be honest it's the lies they are encouraging their staff to tell their customers thats really getting to me.
    They just haven't handle this at all well and in need of some custmer service lessons :rotfl:

    got mine today on free supesaver delivery estimated to come on the 13th oct:beer:

    Mine was dispatched yesterday after I'd ordered it last Friday between 10pm-10:30pm. They charged it to my credit card soon after, as the credit card company called me on Saturday morning to confirm that I'd made the transaction. I also used the free supersaver delivery.:D

    and why say it's cancelled if it's out of stock when you can go into their website and order it from them on a 1-2 week delivery albeit for the £162.40 price?

    Yes that's a good point. I guess amazon saw that an influx of people ordered at the £113.99 price and thought "Oh crap, we're losing money" and decided to cancel everyone's orders except the lucky few who ordered early. :mad:

    i ordered mine at around 9ish and my order has vanished! honestly have no idea as to how they have picked which ones to send to. I emailed them yesterday saying where is my order, why has it vanished and when will i recieve it, then got a reply today:

    Thank you for contacting Customer Services at Amazon.co.uk by e-mail.

    I will need to investigate this issue regarding your order further.

    We will contact you again within 2 business days with an update.

    Thank you for your patience and for bringing this matter to our
    attention.

    Guys,

    I ordered 2 lots on friday evening. I got one lot with 2 nanos yesterday. But the second lot with 2 more nanos disappeared. I have written an angry email to them asking for a full explanation. Will keep you guys posted.

    Also I am not a regular buyer from Amazon. But I have bought a few things in the past.

    Sorry should of added that I pointed out to Amazon CS that it was showing in stock whilst I was talking to them
    Oh yes was her reply then she said she need to email them, there was no mention of the price or that it had now gone up.

    My order had just disappeared and I advised her that I had done a screen print of the item, then went on to purchase it and my order number is xxxxx
    and that I placed my order on the 6th oct at 9.21pm. She told me that she could see the order and yes I'm still waiting!!!!!!
    I can hear you all singing:rotfl:

    So should we hi lite there lies to watchdog:confused:
  • Amazon are trying covering up their pricing mistake. GRRR!!! I reckon the guy who set the prices on the site thought the black ipod nano 8gb was the same as the 1st gen ipod nano 4gb which was also black and later got the sack!
