I used my £20 voucher but it only displayed as £17.02p

I've sent an email to Amazon asking why. Has anyone else tried to use theirs? Expiry date is 11th November.0 -
Its to do with the vat. Once you use the voucher it works out as £20 off0

They deduct 17.5% VAT from the voucher.0 -

What they should have said then is £20 voucher less VAT. Still mustn't grumble as I am getting my Jamier Oliver book for nothing

FWICT, Books don't attract VAT so your voucher will only be worth £17.02. If your purchase was for other items and didn't include any books then you would get the full £20 value from the voucher.0
