  • The £20 voucher does still not excuse the fact that many people were told their order would be fulfilled today once amazons site was sorted out, yet instead all they get is a £20 voucher

True say, that's quite unprofessional that. They have good customer service aswell usually, I mean I don't know of any other company that operates an automated call back system to all numbers.
  • I've still not heard anything back. Did you contact them as well Imy85?

Even worse is the fact I've been into my bank account today and I am unable to withdraw £113.99 of my own money as Amazon still have a reserve on it!

So i'm about to ring them back!

Is anyone willing to paste or PM me a copy of their £20.00 gift voucher email so I have proof other people have had them for the same mistake? I told them I knew of other people that have had the vouchers, but if they ask me to prove it I can't haha.

Thanks everyone, at least this has kept me entertained for the past couple of days! :)

Thank God someone saw the light :)

I didn't even get a cancellation email, they just removed my order without a trace. Not very professional...

I rang them up n the chap on the other end said emails would be sent out in 24hrs explaining the situation so I asked to speak to a supervisor n I was told they were in a meeting n that they'd call me back when they were done. But that was hrs ago n no call as yet.

    I'm gettin a £20 voucher out of this I don't care!!

It has been an entertaing couple of days can't deny that :D
  • Certainly has Imny85. It's fun ringing them and bugging them, I know we shouldn't but they shouldn't lie, or at least inform all their staff of the situation!

I got through to them again about the processing of payment on my card, they denied it, and like magic, 5 minutes after the call the funds we're released! How convenient!

The women also denied all knowledge of any vouchers being sent out, she said none have and noone received their iPod Nanos!

Funny stuff this, making complete a***s out of themselves!

I really probably should be studying or in a lecture, but this is much more fun.

This guy seems dense. No mention of a voucher either, so...

some people get their ipods, some get vouchers, others get nothing...
  • That's the exact email I got, but I was given a £20 voucher in a previous email.
