just been on the phone to CS for what seems like forever and the last two people i have spoke have been very rude, the 1st said what do you expect for a penny we dont send things out at a penny, and then told me there was some stock in another local store but selling for 15 so she put me through to the store. i then got through to the store and she said she'd check and came back and said we dont stock anything like that how much was it on offer for and i tild her 1p she said well thats daft for thinking your going to get one of the for a 1p and we reomove anything off the shelves if it comes up as a penny. i really wanted one of these for my DS, and also the woman told me its old stock anything thats old and discontinued goes online a 1p, she said "i bought 1 of the like 3 years ago for a tenner so i doubt there even out now" she was very rude!

you should have said - you do sell things for a penny as the well known Martin Lewis even puts it in his newsletter that goes to thousands of people and I am sure Tesco are aware of the fact.

Just phoned CS who said she would have a look when I said that they are still available online and I have just put one in my basket to see if still being offered. She came back to say that they are coming up at 1p and they will not sell anything at 1p. I said they are 3-4 years old now and a newer version is available so it looks as if they are on offer to clear but she still wouldn't agree. She said she will pass on the fact that they need removed from the site. When I was getting nowhere, I said that Tesco should not be offering then online if they are not available to purchase but she just said again that she would pass it on. Oh well, worth a try! :(

Are you logged in yet as that happened to me? :)

There must be something wrong with my firefox. When I go to advanced reply none of the smilies, bold, etc. options appear either! I'm typing this in IE and all the buttons are there. Thanks!

The same thing has happened to me. This is the 3rd time this morning that I've had to log back in to MSE and I'm using IE. A little blip somewhere. There must be some others having this problem on here this morning? ;)

  • I just rang about mine to save sitting in for 2 hours and got a £20 e voucher! Might spur a few of you on to ring cs when you wouldn't have bothered. I wasn't narky or anything ......she said my order was blank and I said I had confirmation with the items stated. She spoke to team leader and she said give the voucher. Result!
