oh no Rinkydinkpanther, that's just terrible.

Hi everyone :) Long time lurker says hello!

We've offered on a place and I'm now really nervous (FTB) :) It's not clear if our offer is accepted or not though :)

    Hi folks,

I'm tentatively joining this thread as our sale seems to be going through ok (have kept fairly quiet on the sellers thread as don't want to tempt fate!). Struggling to find something to buy though :( I will say now that we are very picky (OH more than me as he won't move out of about a 3 mile radius of the city centre which limits us quite a lot) so it's partly our own fault, but there have been a couple we really liked which are no gos due to (a) sellers not actually wanting to sell or (b) house being rented and tenant not responding to EA so we haven't been able to view it. Still, we have a bit of time as our buyer doesn't want to complete for another 4-5 months and we are going to see another batch this weekend. And I thought buying was going to be the easy bit! :rotfl:

Anyway, reading back a few pages... good to hear your news Grimbal, hope you manage to get it.

Rinkydinkpanther- sorry to hear that, can't believe they didn't mention it sooner. Hopefully you'll find something else soon.

Good luck to all other fellow buyers out there!

  • Uhoh...saw a bluddy lovely house last night. Now I just have to hold my nerve and not pay too much (massively overpriced!).

Do people generally feel we're at 2006ish prices at the moment? That's what the trend graphs seem to be saying.

I really wish I'd seen it earlier in the week, so I could stop this weekend's viewings from happening. Meh.
