Well had a good party, until we got home and fern threw up..thats not true actually it was more like a scene from the exorcist...puke everywhere...and coz she doesn't like being sick(not my first choice either) she runs around like a headless chicken..puking as she goes...so i end up chasing her with a bucket trying to get her to puke in that i almost joined her...nightmare...now my house has the lovely fragrance of disinfectant, bleach and puke...nice and welcoming....
Nearly went ar*e over t*t on the way home..dodged the dog poo and then got home to that...just hope it was a one off and not a bug or iris is going to get it too and she is loud when she pukes,it echoes in the bucket..
Called in at the co-op and got lots of bits reduced, chicken breasts, liver, pork pie, apples and bananas..got some extra milk and bread too just in case the snow returns which its apparently going to do next wkend...

Hello everyone, had what I am starting to call a 'voucher day'. Was bogof on turkey carvery in bhs with a voucher in an xmas mag - best maybe? So me and ds had that in town. Think offer runs out tomorrow. Bought telegraph today after reading newspaper summary for offers on here and it had a £5 body shop coupon in it no min spend, paper cost £1.80 so £3.20 up in goods, wandered round shop looking for stuff that was only a fiver so I didn't have to add to.:D. Also went to Thorntons and picked up a freebie choc from a voucher Butlins sent me yesterday.

Am putting all these 'freebie' bits into a mini hamper for hubby's aunt for xmas. I got a pocket diary from the temping agency I work for yesterday which might also go in and hubby got an energey saving plug that he's sent for after seeing about it on here, but we are keeping that for ourselves.

Next year I intend collecting the 'freebie' stuff all year round and making some hamper xmas pressies with them.

It's the smell that's the best, mmmmm christmas.

We have an artificial one these days, it looks really realistic as it was mega expensive, but I do miss coming down in the morning to that fantastic pine smell.

Got home a while ago from DS's house. We had a small family get together as he and his family are going away for two weeks over Christmas and New Year.

DD and her partner came along as well, we all had hot snacks, nibbles, drinks and pudding.

Two grand daughters were dancing to the WII..was really funny. Even DS had a go.:rotfl:

Swapped our christmas prezzies and I got spoilt rotten.:D

Sat at home now watching X Factor and feeling a bit worn out.

Planning a lie in tomorrow morning. ZZZZZZZZZZ

Do not click this link if you are offended by bad language!!!

Someone posted this on Facebook, I thought Nuala especially and everyone else on here would be interested by this man, he's saying what we're all thinking, but his language is VERY colourful.

Certainly doesn't mince his words does he?

But he speaks the truth even if it is interspersed with expletives :T
