I set mine to -14 which is the 'warmest' is goes and everything is fine. it has a powerfreeze button that I use if I have put loads of unfrozen stuff in at once to chill stuff down really quickly
Thank you so much for that. I'm expecting an online grocery delivery today and I'd forgotten to set the freezer to 'fast freeze'. All done now.0 -
Sorry to hear about your Dad Katholicos, sounds like his sense of humour wasn't affected! Fingers crossed he will be home again soon. You must be worn out with running back and forth not mention fending off the attention of male patients.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

The baby woke up twice last night /early hours ave no idea why she was sleeping through giving her extra bottles but then worried maybe shes having too much milk.
she napped in buggy today but not for long and wont go sleep in cot but worry she be evil mood later if shes still tired.
Took eldest swimming tipping down here and cold such a contrast to yesterday.
Problem is with swimming she was doing more walking and wouldent kick her legs and baby was grouchy and bored got 3more lesons left.
Blooming forgot mirror so got to go out later as need to go po later and send parcel but hoping it stops raining, seems very dark and gloomy.
Really need to do some tidying today and cooking.

freezer still seems quite full.
want to do mini quiches today.

Anyone watch c4 news last night? most media fixated on us midterm elections and they reckon despite obama and fiscal stimulus things got worse in america that 1 in 7qualify for foodstamps but the foodstamps dont cover all food everyone needs so they did a feature on food banks and how they help people, think we have similar schemes over here cant remember name of it but there are some and when you think how much our supermarkets waste its crimininal.
The argument is does greater spending always get results and help improve poverty.
Do wonder how we can best protect the poor and needy over here in time of cuts.
Guess we have more welfare here even if it is being cut.
newsnight did some stuff other week just highlighted our veiw of usa, american dream is a dream to many theres such a gap between rich and poor.
The republicans/teaparty movement basically conservative want cuts and get defecit down and the democrats want more spending so same as labour.

The weather is awful here so we have stayed in nistead of going to a freinds as we would have been soaked getting there. Boys already have colds that are 2 weeks old so getting wet wouldnt be good.
Sorting outr more stuff to put on ebay inbetween wiping noses!
DS2 asleep, Ds1 om WII and were listening to next door shout abuse at her kids and then turn music up so you can hear it word for word in here. Maybe time to complain to child services again and anti social behaviour again - lots of us neighbours have contacted them but nothing seems to have changed!

kath thanks for making me laugh, its siling here in Cambs today - really miserable,
in town yesterday, shopping for bread tins my OH had to sit down as his legs were hurting, (from his diabetes) and we sat next to a lady who was obviously stark raving mad, she kept cackling and laughing really loudly at nothing,
then lifted her dress and said 'look at me boys'
i said to OH ; ' i dont care if your legs are dropping off, i'm going!!' very eventful day,
have my grandson here today, and i have made some home made play dough for him, i'm really OS these days0 -
flowertotmum - is the skip company name or number on the side- may be quicker to call them instead. failing that as it completely blocks your access - the police will attend too, can see the council taking three weeks at least to get round to helping you.
Thanks for that, i have rang them and explained and a very but scarily big chap:eek: came back and moved it for me to the top of the drive...of course oddbod came out and was having a go:mad:..big chap told him to shut up or he would remove the skip altogether:rotfl:..nice man;)..
Kath..glad to hear your dads on the mend:)
Lindy loo..i hate hearing mums and dads shouting at their children its awful:(

He told everyone at work his and mine!! (we used to work together and he knew all my friend sfrom work) Soooo embarrasingIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

Hi all
I have got the week off work and have big plans for a thorough clean of the house, all those jobs that do not get done as part of the weekly clean.
Like a lot of people on this site I converted to stardrops but this week saw stardrops with ammonia 750ml for 89p in Home and Bargin. I have just used it to wash down all of the gloss work in the hall/stairs/landing and it is gleaming :T. Best of all is the wall going up the stairs, the kids run their hands up this wall (I don't know why they can not use the bannnister on the opposite wall), I thought that I would have to re-paint it but stardrops with ammonia a nylon pan scourer and a little elbow grease has brought the paint up like new. The only problem is it is showing up the hall walls and I will have to do them as well now.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order.
