Or would that cause your brain to implode?

This is probably going to sound ridiculous MG.
when my DS2 was at school (He's 25 now) he really struggled with dyslexia until they scribed things for him, and a lot of the work he did on audio, includng tests and exams.
Just wondered, if what you do could be put on audio so that maybe blind people could get the benefit.
No implosion, that'd be brilliant, could have done with that when I did my highers0 -
Can you do a general 'sorting out life' one, perchance?
Get well soon *Hands over lemsip*
I agree Pickle. Just recently I'm finding more and more that my memory is failing me. It was never great (I think MG got some of my share when memories were handed out). I find that if I dont write whatever I need to remember down straight away, it just vanishes into thin air. Old timers is setting in I think
MG, do you have any techniques to improve general memory?
Get well wishes from me too. Maybe put a wee nip of whiskey in that lemsip Pickle sent upIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Well done Bitsy and hope you feel better soon MG x
I've just finished writing my main essay for my course - quite pleased as it isn't due in until 1st December! Of course there will be a few read throughs and revisions before then but it's very unlike me to be so organised!
As I'm going to be doing more studying and (hopefully) work from home, I've been looking at laptops - the PC is in the attic room and I don't really want to be stuck in there all the time. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm after something small and light, just for Word and going online basically. Been looking at Netbooks but don't know if they're much good for word processing?
Oh and I'm glad Gemmzie asked what a tada is - I've been wondering tooDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Seriously, I would think there would be a lot of interest in that - though maybe not from schoolkids. I have tried mindmapping what I want to do now I have taken early retirement but not got very far with it. Part of the problem is I have 'enthusiasms' as my family call them and I racket around from one to another without settling on any of them - but they all need shopping for (NOT very OS).
If you think you might be covering that on the London course on 4 December, I'd be tempted to book myself on it along with DD2.
(BTW where is the venue for that likely to be? It's just that if it's the other side of London from us I'll need to allow more time to get her there for 9.15)It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0
