I'm looking for a stunning, wonderful, individual new baby girl present that will live up to me classy unusual but lovely presents that I like to give - and be reasonably priced..
All ideas gratefully received:D
This is difficult...could you possibly tie it into Christmas and get her a first christmas baubble/stocking other than that I'm afraid I'm out of ideas (which considering my nephew is about to arrive the end of the month is pretty shocking)2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -
Winky - the important thing is that you and the baby are OK. I know a water birth sounds good, but that is a nicety, there is so much hype etc about 'natural' etc. and also pressure to conform to the 'natural' approaches. I assume you've been told what to look out for, do contact asap hospital/doctors if things change, pre-eclampsia is a nasty. Not wanting to stress you out, just concerned. I had pre-eclampsia twice and other complications, fortunately I and the babies were OK, admittedly that was years ago, but apparently they still don't know why it happens to some people and not others.0

Thanks fantasia - I like the look of those although I'm also looking for a keesake thingy too.
The parents are Next fans (queueing @ 6am for sales etc) so it might be that not next or a "well-known" name might not be appreciated
But I want soemthing different
Away to show DH site now & see what he thinks

Came across this - at £16 I wouldn't pay that for what's included but the idea is brilliant & scottishlass - as you have a bit of time it might be possible to "invent" a similar sort of thing

Clooties mum, there are lots of jewelery makers on the thread/matrix. Some do commisions. With the Christmas theme, why not a specially commisioned Christmas Tree decoration of crystals, maybe with sterling silver chain to dangle it on in a presentation box, then each year/birthday etc., you could send extra ones. There are other craft people who could do special commisions using different techniques. If you can get them in special boxes with a certificate to say when it was given and why would make it really special.
I'm into Christmas Trees as memory trees, so I look for things to remember people and places, so when I dress the tree it brings back the memories.0 -
Yayyy! Thank you EH. I realised I had used the same second password as my password here on MSE - so have managed to log in now.
That nappypackers website looks great, fantasia!
GQ xoxIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

What a good idea -I did think of the jewellry people but just thought for a newborn they wouldn't be suitable but the tree idea - let me run that by DH....Debts 07/12/2021

That was going to be my next question too if it had been the second password she was struggling with.
I see GQ has made it across.
@ClootiesMum definately a possibility...although nephew is number 4 so I would hope they are well used to it by now.
I love the Christmas Jewellery Decoration idea.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0
