Thanks for letting us know that you got home safely, you must have been shattered
Like Triker I took my two girls to the course & just went back for cakes & chat afterwards. I think it is fair to say that I encountered a fair amount of teenage resistance to getting out of bed on a Saturday morning which called for firm and decisive parenting but in the car home they too could recite the countries of he EU although interestingly they too forgot the Netherlands. DD2 is resitting some of her AS exams in January and has said she will try the techniques on them so I will report back in March/April time if it has led to a stunning improvement.
On a personal note, unfairly Elaine looks about 7 or 8 years younger than she actually is, and is taller than I expected. Double Trouble is much slimmer than I expected but I think stupidly that my mind seized on the word double and visualized a double sized person.
As you would expect from the Matrix, everyone was of course, very nice.
The kids on the course were fantastic (and they could make very pretty mind maps too me jealous ................ yepbut thanks to pi man's suggestion I have found some mind mapping software and guess what even though my drawing is pants - like colouring in though
- I can do pretty mind maps too):j:j:j:j:j
Well I can remember all the things that we learnt yesterday still which is a miracle considering how tired I was when I got home my husband knows more about a person called Susan than he would probably like :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
No it was a fab day makes me want to go back to studying just to put it into practice
Helen you nearly made me spurt very strong black coffee over the keyboard cos 6 months ago I was over 5 stone heavier so your image wouldn't have been far wrong so thank you for saying that I was slimmer than you imagined and thank you thank you for letting me cuddle your little grandson you above all people know how much that meant to me :A
MG glad you got home safely and don't forget we need pictures of the thigh length boots. You did ace yesterday just need to convince my son to come along now

CraftyScholar, re the Ralph Marston Daily Motivator site - no I haven't subscribed, I just read each daily page as it appears which is free of charge. And of course it is possible to scroll back (as I described) to read previous entries.
ETA - I use Mozilla Firefox and have all my favourite websites in tabs which automatically open every time I start up the web browser. That way I never lose what's going on. Realising I could do this has made such a difference.
Great to know you're home safe MG and I hope you slept well.
I hope everyone has a good day. Today I am getting on with more 50-day challenge activities, namely tackling my humungous paperwork mountain. I may be some time....
GQ xoxIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Sounds like the day was a huge success and everyone enjoyed it. Lots of positivity there.
MG. Well done!
GQ. Have added that site to my favourites.
Well I did want to open a box of Christmas chocolates last night but I didnt. I knew the reason why I wanted to as my mum is quite ill. I just did some tapping and distracted myself.0 -
Hey
Really pleased it went so well yesterday
MG you now have some proper reviews (as long as Helen and Triker are happy for you to use them!)
My tumble drier's died, so I am off to the laundrette to dry my washing, and then Comet to buy a new one. Deep joy! I must not buy a new laptop by mistake!!!
See you later - can't wait to hear more tales from yesterday xxx0 -

Sooo glad I just read this before going out. All day yesterday I *knew* there was something I needed to get, but couldn't remember. I knew it wasn't food, but it had just been a passing thought - 'I must get' and never got any further. The word 'Comet' suddenly attached itself to something and I remembered - Hoover bags!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

What about carboots, or looking at the supermarkets on their notice board. The other thing I guess is to ask in Charity shops - it may be they have one out the back that they don't think will sell.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -
