Looking forward to hearing about Leeds, MG - much love and best wishes for a fab time.
Hugs Claire for today, and for our other contributor going in for an op - sorry name is not coming as brain is not fully switched on but my thoughts are very much with you too!

A special space for your crafts would be nice so I would see the house and you will know if it is right for you or not straight away but don't just dismiss it the universe may have sent it especially for you
Hugs

TDQ I have just seen your post I will bring the shirts I have already in case I don't get many on the 23rd in which case it will be cheaper to courier them than to drive to Hertfordshire thank you you are a star. See you tomorrow.
Yes I know, but we have just spent loads getting the bathroom sorted so it is safer for me etc, and just redecorated etc, and started to de clutter etc, and its started looking lovely here.
Unless as you say the universe is telling me something and we haven't been doing it to have a lovely home but to enable us to sell.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
All the best at the hospital Claire - you'll be fine xx
MG - Enjoy Leeds, sounds like you'll have lots of fun
Am enjoying all the house stories
I have promised to email my copy of the Secret to my H so he can read it at work (I don't mean in works time but lunch times etc). He's stuck in a rut, hates his job, doesn't see a future at the company and I know he can do well. I trust the Secret will give him the direction to change things for the better.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

I still read everyday, work is pretty awful at the moment and I just wondered if you guys could give me some advice. Work does make me miserable but I do love my job and I don't want to leave because I would really like to do it well. Organisation is my big problem and I am constantly behind with work (am a teacher - marking is my absolute downfall) I have tried various systems and timetables but nothing really works. Its not somthing I can ask the Universe for!?
xx
Can you alter your way of work so that there is less marking for you, maybe use more multi-choice, and one's people can mark themselves or switch the sheets around and get others to check them. OK it depends on the ages/subjects as to how much you can do this, and will take a little effort to switch over, but each multi-choice like this means a class's work for one thing you don't need to mark. Also you reuse them the next year once it's in place.0 -
Hurray - I've caught up! I've missed loads I am sure...
But well done to every one who has good news, hugs to all who need them, encouraging prods up the bottom for all who need motivation...
Claire - positive vibes for hoppytal today - I am sure you will feel so much better this afternoonx A new house, how exciting
MG - Have a fab time, wish I was coming, but I can't afford the petrol to drive to Leeds. I will try to come to the Bristol one (or the Brighton one, because it's my favourite place in the UK)
MUST WORK NOW!! Laterz xxxxxx0 -
Good Morning
Well phoned the hospital, there is a bed for megetting quite anxious now
need to be there for 11.
Talking of houses, Dh been reading our local paper and has seen a 4 bed house with basement, £7000 cheaper than our 3 bedroom. So I can have a craft room. and we will have a spare bedroom. Dh is thinking of going to look at it. I'm not sure.
Hope you will be able to feel us standing behind you.its started looking lovely here.

Right ladies (and any gents) I need you to soothe my nerves. I have made a load of craft stuff the last few weeks with the intention of selling it. It's cards, reindeer poop, decorated chocolates for stocking fillers that sort of thing. I've never done this before and I am unconsciously bricking it. Local table top sale is sold out so it's a question of trawling round some of the toddler groups to see what I can sell. This is out of my comfort zone big time, am secretly worried that I won't sell anything or won't sell much. We could do with the income (especially after what I've spent to create these crafts
) and I really need some additional positive vibes that I can a) suck up the nerves and as Nike say Just Do It! and b) sell all my stuff with the potential to make more to sell.
I've been avoiding asking myself why I am not pushing to get more stuff made and after finally asking the question I've realised I am trying to avoid dealing with the idea of my stuff painstakingly made will be rejected. That's it I am avoiding the rejection. How do you cope with putting yourself and your craft (whatever that may be) and deal with any potential rejection.
Goodness listen to me.......I sound like such a drama queen don't I?MG is trying to get back into work and here's me with a little side thing

Very well said indeed! When one is in a rut persisting is pointless. Way forward - stop, exhale, think and change the way you do things. (learned this one from a friend of mine who used to work in bars in Greece).
