Karmcat: I think you have hit the nail on the head! The sofa bed is the problem. It's OK to sit on but not for sleeping. I had decorated it all with its intended purpose in mind and its a very calm room.My OH won't use it because the main tv etc isn't there, but I had done it for me and I'm not using it either.

Well now the
kitchen floor has been swept
bathroom floor washed clean mats put down
washing in the machine
folded and put away dry towels in the tumble, put more in the tumble
tidied cushions and throws on the settee's

Bother - my challenge on what to stop has just been stopped by the local council, grrr. I pledged to stop cutting up garden waste so it could go into the ordinary bin, and instead rent a garden bin for £50 a year - turns out there's a waiting list while they reallocate expenditure, oh dear.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
