I can't see any limit to the opportunities for selling this stuff really. Depends how hard you want to work and whether you want this as 'your job' or whether you want to build an organisation doing it.

You might think about 'this course will help your company make more money' as a more compelling sales point? I would see corporates as your primary market...

    x

"the mentally literate beyond the year 2000 will not be the person who cannot read or write, but instead will be the person who cannot learn, unlearn then relearn the skills of the game of work in the new millenium"

    In the corporate world:

can show them how to learn whilst they earn

how to manage change by keeping ahead of the learning curve

How to share training in groups in minutes rather than hours

    ............... and .............. em

Did you know that 96% of a training course is forgotten within a week? (and in my experience the stuff thats remembered is the funny stories and the prat-falls)

So £96 of every £100 in peoples training budget is lost, because people don't have effective memory systems.

So invest in one day learning how to learn - and every other training event for that person thereafter means more intellectual capital is retained in the company. So the value of my day rolls on and on the more training you buy in the future.

Of course that works for teachers too. In fact i have done this. The teacher teaches their socks off the whole year, gets to the end of the curriculmn, starts the revision process and the kids go "whoa - hang on we never covered that" becasue they have forgotten most of what was covered, becasue they don't know how to learn and revise in sympathy with the brains patterns of processing.

    Must be soul destroying.

Off to think about corporate buttons to press

    My thoughts....

Go for a two pronged attack

One training event for the little guys like myself priced around the £80 mark per participant, affordable for an event to put our kids on.

The main idea of the "world tour" is to get out and meet you guys, train your kids and get me back out making some connections and referrals - thats why I decided to pitch the price at £80 rather than, well rather than what I will be charging AFTER the "world tour":rotfl::rotfl:

Then a corporate training event which includes all the above but also maybe a half hour telephone one to one personal mind map session with each client...charge what you like for that...:D

Now theres an idea - mind you Mr B's calculation of what it would cost for a 1-2-1 for me in a years time is truly scary:eek:

I like the idea of 'bundling up', but I think you should also consider what people may want to buy as extras.

Some of the things like the ebook and the revision course could be things that would sell effortlessly from a website (without any intervention from you).

Thats the plan - make the kids who attend he "World Tour" the recipients of masses of good quality stuff, then sell those products online to those who can't attend.

There will be students who will come to a study day and 'get it', there will be others who want to go over the content again with more help.

I am sure that those who attend will tell friends and if they can't get to see you (say you are on a world tour :o) they will want to access to information.

I hope thats how it all works - first I need to build a pot of "Raving Fans", hence the target to teach 1000 students in 2011, using weekends. Training them at the low price and gettng them to robustly test all the products.

This leaves my weeks free to spend with the boys, doing corporate and keynotes and developing more product.

But secretly - I am looking forward to the "world Tour" most:D Especially if DS1 can travel with me some of the time.
