But just wanted to say if you look at the website for the secret you will find 2 free book downloads one called the secret of getting rich (which was the book that started rhonda byrne thinking about all the stuff) and one called the magic key - i downloaded both and the secret of getting rich i think is very good, i browsed through the magic key and there is a bit of work to it and will leave it for the time being....

  • Been having a think...OK it's the end of Day 1 but never mind...
    My 50 Day Challenges are:
    1. Make better use of the 2 hours a day I spend on the train (sorting out admin, reading books etc.)
    2. Write more letters - I always like getting post that isn't bills, so I think I should send more to other people
    3. Make an effort to meet new people at least once a week (am fairly sure Mr Right is not hiding under the sofa or I would have noticed by now)
    4. Dress only in clothes I think I look good in
    5. Plant all the bulbs in the garden for some spring cheeriness

    Looking fwd to it:j

Raises hand to join 50 day challenge

Hi all, sorry I have not posted much - finally caught up. Been busy with work and can only log on at home. Been reading as much as I can.

MG - so sorry to hear about the situation with the school and hope it is resolved.

MG - I am really trying to raise the funds to attend the workshop as I have still not recovered from the car bill and a couple of other unexpected costs.

Claire - your house sounds like it is coming along beautifully - hope you can get vacuum sorted

There were lots of others I wanted to post to but thread moves so fast so will send ((hugs)) to all who need them and positive vibes sent too.

    Ok my challenges are:

1, De-clutter living room & keep it that way - a bit each day

    2, De-clutter spare room

3, De-clutter under stairs and e-bay any items possible from these areas though its all probably paperwork and stuff that needs re-housing

    4, Write business plan

5, Start typing up book 1hour on Saturday or Sunday each week

6, Research comparison webite for utilities

7, Take the time to spend quality time with OH each week - enjoy a meal at the table (candle-lit maybe?), going for a walk together etc.

8, Once I have running shoes, put these to use, I have no pennies for gyms and am aiming for slender :o

9, Measure table for tablecloth and shop around for this e-bay etc oilcloth tablecloth

10, Knit daily mon - fri until used up existing wool and then find a pattern for a cardigan or jumper - please let me know if anyone has any ideas suggestions where I can find these?

11, Cancel membership which I did not re-new and am being chased for?

12, Apply for an interest free card

13, Cancel annual DD for sub

14, Deep clean each room as it is de-cluttered.

 A big challenge and I shall commence on this in a mo. by sorting 2 letters from the letter pile in the living room :D Some of my challenges seem small but they are the jobs I have put off and put off so needs must.

There are lots of free pattern sites on the internet post a request on the old style knitters thread and they'll suggest some. If you've got some more detailled idea of what you want to knit (size/style/wool type) it might help them to get you a better suggestion.

MG - I hope the meeting went well - can't wait to find out what's happened.

Well day one of the 50 Challenge and I am broken :(:(:(
Pelvic joint giving me jip yesterday (must have slept funny on it) and went to bed last night and due to kids woke up couple of hours later in agony, can't move properly. Very limited range of movement, can't lift my left leg properly to walk, let alone drive.

So Universe if this is your message it's a pretty carp one :(

Sorry I know it's a negative post which we don't really do but needed to tell the Universe I am not impressed.
