Forgot to say MG when you posted this a few weeks ago I decided to try it when I saw 'Mr Negative' at work coming towards me.
So, here he comes, cue Thunderbirds music & a very small Thunderbirds ship carrying a very large bell jar. All going well so far.
Unfortunately in my version they dropped it too early, hit him on the conk & he passed out :rotfl:.
Still, it worked, as I was grinning throughout our conversation.
Note to self: Hmmm, have a meeting with 2 negative people next week. Must remember to leave the cupboard door open for Thunderbird 2 to get out
Oh that is priceless - I'm going to do battle with the bank and get myself sorted by imagining TB1 flyng through their office.

MG,
Is this refused as in face-to-face in the bank? If so, what reason did they give - computer says no??

Same question as Groatie Queen - why are they refusing?
Greyfox - that REALLY made me laugh!
On the subject of the universe - a very good friend of mine has been going through some medical stuff recently - she found a lump, and has had to go for mammogram etc, it's all been horrible for her. I asked the universe for a "good news" outcome please, and also told her to start thinking in terms of "everything is OK" rather than "what if"....she may have thought I was going a bit barmy, but bless her, she humoured me.....:rotfl: Anyway - she has now had her results back and is in the clear, so thank you Universe!
NowI need to hot-foot it over to Hypno's thread as I've missed her phenomenal news! :T🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

URGENT REQUEST FOR A KIT COLLECTION IN STOWMARKET SUFFOLK
I have emailed one person who said they could cover some parts of suffolk to see if she can do it and I realise it is probably a bit far for our Norwich based lady.
So if there is anyone near Stowmarket we need 14 kits collecting or else they are going elsewhere. Get in touch asap if you can help.

Thank you this has now been sorted0 -

Hi all,
Been thinking a lot about what I would really like to ask the universe.
Realised that I have been sending very mixed messages out there. I would like myself and my hubby to buy our own house together. I moved into his and sold mine a few years ago.
He promised we would do this, however we're nearly a decade on and its not happening and doesn't appear to be either.
My mixed messages are that to compensate for my unhappiness about this situation I have cluttered this house up no end with my rubbish, I was a compulsive shopper but have addressed this however there is still a hell of a lot of stuff to get rid of.
So how can the universe enable me to move when I keep surrounding myself with stuff? Mixed message right there eh?
Also I'm not on hubby's mortgage so I can go right out there and get my own mortgage on a property, only thing stopping me over the years has been my patiently awaiting his shift re the house we're in.
He doesn't quite understand I think how strongly I feel about this...although probably does now after last nights row...again.
So I'm taking action, finally, as we're going round in circles and there is never any productive movement.
So for my 50 day challenge, I am going to explore getting a mortgage and/or rent.
Declutter more stuff.

And some very embarrassing (to them) seminar stories:rotfl::rotfl:
And trust me I will name and shame wth gay abandon (well just as son as I've protected the house by paying them off IYSWIM - thats the guarantee not the mortgage:D)

Olive, TMIF - I'm so sorry to hear your situations with your mums. I hope the advice from previous posters has already helped ... Olive, you posted that your mum has Alzheimer's? I do know that Alzheimer's and strokes have different effects on the brain, tho both are extremely distressing, for the sufferer and the family ....
Lots of healing thoughts going your ways.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
