    This got me thinking GQ.

    Q. How long does it take to cover over the brown marks on grouting on en suite floor with a silver pen?
    A. Approx 90 secs, including running under hot tap to get lid off :T

    Q. How long had I been putting off doing it?
    A. About 2 years :o

    Q. How long does it take to throw out a chipped bowl that annoys me every time I use it?
    A. 3 seconds (didn't even wash it first :rotfl:) :T

    Q. How long does it take to put away the boxes with all summer shoes that have been sitting on spare room bed for weeks, having finally accepted the fact I do not have time to photograph them & all and stick a picture on the front (I know, it's my 1 OCD action :o)?
    A. About 2 minutes :T

    Q. How long does it take to pile the stuff for ebay that has also been sitting on spare room bed for weeks, having finally accepted the fact I do not have time to do it right now, and stick in a box under bed?
    A. About 2 minutes, including obligatory bracing self against wall and shoving :T

    Q. How many deodorants do I need to have sitting on the side in bedroom at any one time?

    A. The answer is NOT 6, despite evidence to the contrary. The CORRECT answer is one, with all the rest [STRIKE]bunged in a drawer[/STRIKE] stowed neatly away :T

    Q. How long does it take to fetch from garage a screw thing for bottom of light for spare room so I can put up a lampshade?

    A. Watch this space......... Edit: 4 minutes, including sticking a bag of shoes for charity shop in the car :T

    Thanks GQ, it's a start :)

    That is so funny!

    Hi all

I love the idea of thinking about how long something really takes - I am terrible at thinking things are going to be much more time-consuming than they actually are :o

It's been great reading how your 100 day challenges have gone - as usual you inspire me to get on with things! Yesterday I started a blog which is something I've been meaning to do for ages :)

At last! A chance for me to contribute - what do you want it doing, I can do arms in the air:

or one arm in the air:

or did you want someone with ability to do it :o

I'm well back in the thread - but had to pick up on this one, ocean, its great :j
Some paperwork problems now in progress instead of in procrastination.

    I love that description.

Capsule wardrobe nearly complete. Still need black boots, long black cardigan and bras (sorry to mention that word again ;))

This is becoming increasingly important to me - I'm only decluttered about 30% with my clothes, but I'm on the way, at least.

Today we found my old vision statement and dream book from about 8 years ago. It has been disposed of to make room for my new perfect week and dream board (don't want it hidden in a book this time, rather for it to shout out loud to the universe that this is what I want).

This is the bit that shrieked out to me! How wonderful! And you *are* a mindreader, aren't you! I was going to put mine up in blu tak on the inside of the wardrobe - don't want blutak on the walls any more - but I'll do it on the *outside* now, thank you :j

ETA forgot to say that my favourite threadbare fleece went in the bin today.

This bit is also really, really impressive - favourite clothes - they may be tatty, faded, old fashioned (because they've been favourites for such a long time, lol) I find this really difficult.
