Will ask an old employer for you (screenprinting place)... does it need to be local or can they send to you?

I am now at the end of day 39 in my 92 day challenge. I was a little down on Saturday evening when I looked at how much still needs to be done but now I have written down what has been achieved so far (with a lot of help from my carer) I am now feeling so much better.

    Here we go:-

Confidence in posting on this thread getting there :o.

    Health much improved.

Decluttering well on the way - kitchen done, bedroom done, office 3/4 done (my recycling bin was emptied this morning and is full again already). Bathroom and living room both OK.

Relevant tradesmen for work on house tracked down and now being gradually contacted for quotes.

Multifuel stove has been collected from shop by fitter and due to be fitted sometime in November.

Paperwork still requiring action in a more organised state.

Some paperwork problems now in progress instead of in procrastination.

Capsule wardrobe nearly complete. Still need black boots, long black cardigan and bras (sorry to mention that word again ;))

Friends and neighbours keep asking me where I am going because I am properly dressed instead of in baggy trackies.

Notebook and folder specifically for income ideas and brainstorming is in daily use.

Today we found my old vision statement and dream book from about 8 years ago. It has been disposed of to make room for my new perfect week and dream board (don't want it hidden in a book this time, rather for it to shout out loud to the universe that this is what I want).

MSE and grocery challenge have both gone a bit to pot at the moment but I will get back on track once I have finished organising the office.

Phew, time to take myself off for a well-earned treat - a soak in the bath.

ETA forgot to say that my favourite threadbare fleece went in the bin today.

Can't get into the new forum - it just keeps cycling me back to the login box. :( Maybe I'll have more luck tomorrow.

It's stunning to hear how positive the outcomes of the challenges have been. I didn't do one but am now thinking about doing something like that myself. Not sure I'm quite ready yet, but then again am I just prevaricating?! Don't answer that! :D

  • I'm thinking of setting myself a 50 day challenge - a short sharp push and then off for Christmas. Say from 1st November to the 20th of December?? What do you think?

My lord the girl's psychic as well - I was just thinking of that

Yes I'm up for a 50 day challenge - will get my thinking cap on.

Seriously, look after yourself and watch that headache - sounds a bit migraine-ish to me.

    Little bit of help here?

I need to find a company that can cut stencil designs in aluminium or plastic sheets.

Sort of laser or waterjet cutting...

If you have friends/family in graphics/printing/metalwork, could you just ask and let me know if anyone knows where I can get this done?

    Many thanks.

    Mike

Can you not think more laterally, might a university department have access to it?

OK, who is keeping track of the total amount of 'stuff' collected for kits for kids? Was it supposed to be on Facebook? I have avoided joining that so far so if it is, could someone add it for me please? And possibly give us non-FB peeps an update too?

Having sorted the pile upstairs I have:
    98 shirts (87 adult, 11 boys)
52 pairs of shorts (adults or small adult/ teen)
    64 pairs of socks
    one pair of child's trainers

Well done on the money-raising initiative!
When do we find out whether our idea for raising funds for MG is anything like what the mentors had in mind?

DT I have sent you a PM, trying to think of a way we could help each other.

I have mentioned this on the Matrix Forum and yeah, totals were to be uploaded onto Facebook.

I will check and if your totals haven't been added I will do it for you, not a problem.

    Here's my totals to date:
Tops 127; Shorts 66; Socks 26; Boots 11; other football clothing items 15.

Keep smiling everyone (easier said than done but nice to have a smiley outlook)

I can't see any totals on the facebook page, am I being blind? (This is usually the case btw :o ).

Were we collecting all types of football tops again? Sorry I had 2 weeks holiday from work so only sent the email out today as I didn't want to email and then not be there and I've had quite a few people come back to me already :T
