    Little bit of help here?

I need to find a company that can cut stencil designs in aluminium or plastic sheets.

Sort of laser or waterjet cutting...

If you have friends/family in graphics/printing/metalwork, could you just ask and let me know if anyone knows where I can get this done?

    Many thanks.

    Mike

Will ask an old employer for you (screenprinting place)... does it need to be local or can they send to you?

I need to say something serious now. Remember that I mentioned that I will celebrate my 50th by doing the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage? Someone send me Sirley MacLaine's book about doing it and it arrived today. Thank you - have been thinking about the generousity, kindness and support on this forum most of the day.

I just hope that I will have the opportunity to pass it on a hundred times over - all of it.

I celebrated my 50th earlier this year several times with a family lunch, a trip to Barcelona, a lunch for 50 family and friends and then a Baltic Cruise :D Very unMSE but I had saved for 5 years to cover it all. :o

I think the ideas, sense and perspective you have posted on this thread have already passed it on 100 times over but please don't stop :D

It is so lovely when you get an unexpected gift, I hope you enjoy reading and it makes you even more excited about your trip :j

Anyone else who would like a log-in to the new forum, here's what you have to do:

    PM me your email address

I will get a password raised for you then email you an instruction email

You will then be able to log-in .................. and play.

Remember the choice of the Matrix was for a private place - hence the high level of security to get you logged in.

I have got a massive headache, all flashy lights and metallic taste in my mouth - and unfortunately a 6am coaching call, so if you don't mind I will catch all the pleas for access in the morning. Also it happens to be the Web Angels Birthday - so I think I should leave him be this evening - LOL

PS I'm thinking of setting myself a 50 day challenge - a short sharp push and then off for Christmas. Say from 1st November to the 20th of December?? What do you think?

I have been going to screenprinting classes where we coat the screens with photo-emulsion and then expose them to light on top of our designs a bit like using a photocopier. Would this work for you? The workshop where I go (in Leeds) is also available for use pretty cheaply on a pay per hour basis. Maybe you could find something like that near you.

I'm not sure, I was wondering whether it would be a good idea to let things settle from the last challenge, sort of have a period of reassessment before setting off again in January.

I think the energy coming off this thread today would give enough power to send a rocket to the moon!

fantasia well done for plucking up the courage to post about your DS's diganosis. That's a massive step for you and will surely help you towards regaining your own confidence.

kavics when I started my challenge I set an end date for 17th December too. I've counted up today and it will be 92 days from the start.

Memory Girl What a fabulous first week back at work you've had, and a cracking start to the second. I agree that the matrix should run the country. My votes are for MG as Prime Minister and hypno as Chancellor. The country will be in fine fettle in no time!

Clooties Mum you are in a better place than you were 100 days ago - I would call that a success.

    grandmasam :T

and a big CONGRATULATIONS to all for their 100 day successes and all who are setting new challenges.
