OK, who is keeping track of the total amount of 'stuff' collected for kits for kids? Was it supposed to be on Facebook? I have avoided joining that so far so if it is, could someone add it for me please? And possibly give us non-FB peeps an update too?
Having sorted the pile upstairs I have:
98 shirts (87 adult, 11 boys)
52 pairs of shorts (adults or small adult/ teen)
64 pairs of socks
one pair of child's trainers
Well done on the money-raising initiative!
When do we find out whether our idea for raising funds for MG is anything like what the mentors had in mind?
DT I have sent you a PM, trying to think of a way we could help each other.0 -

I need to say something serious now. Remember that I mentioned that I will celebrate my 50th by doing the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage? Someone send me Sirley MacLaine's book about doing it and it arrived today. Thank you - have been thinking about the generousity, kindness and support on this forum most of the day.
I just hope that I will have the opportunity to pass it on a hundred times over - all of it.

Little bit of help here?
I need to find a company that can cut stencil designs in aluminium or plastic sheets.
Sort of laser or waterjet cutting...
If you have friends/family in graphics/printing/metalwork, could you just ask and let me know if anyone knows where I can get this done?
Many thanks.

My 100 day challenge - Well i didn't really do a challnge as such, but i wrote me a list, and gave myself a talking too and achieved the following.
Got the exterior of my house painted and prepped for winter - so no worrying about woodwork crumbling and rendering collapsing.
Tidied my house from top to bottom, got stuff organised and generally made myself feel on top of everything.
Worked on my confidence, i am currently overweight and view myself badly. So made more of an effort with my apperance and [STRIKE]believed[/STRIKE] tried to take on board all the lovely things my friends tell me. This also meant trying to tell myself that not everyone looks at me thinking "hefer" but may actually like me for me! Next step -lose the weight!
Got back to my photography - with a view to it making me some money once i have confidence in my work (see above!)
So although i have not done a lot physically, mine was more about a mindshift, which will hopefully lead to bigger and better things in the future!

P.S MG no long in/details. Not a problem if your more active members are using it rather than the occasional posters. Fully understand X0
