Ok What about Kits for kids crystal birthstone Earrings? instead of football themed? as everyone has a birthstone :) And I have most probably got the crystals here to start making them.

Well looked into Credit Unions a bit more, they currently would need a lot of cash and time to set one up, but existing credit unions can allow schemes within them, if we could find a friendly credit union e.g. one credit union set up a special scheme for a football fans group to save to buy shares in the club.
  • I have an idea brewing... it needs development, but it's sort of inspired by FW's earlier comments

Instead of doing my budget plan, I have spent the past half an hour pondering this...

We currently have a collective pool of resources, skills, abilities etc. We are already ultilising this...

So I wondered if we could extend this to a pool of £££. I don't know how much we could collect, I don't know if it would give a return on the investement, I haven't thought about the details.... We could use then use it to fund ideas/investments/projects within the matrix. It would obviously have to be repaid by the user so that it could be used again for the next project (so no doubt there are loads of legal implications) but don't shoot me, it's just a tiny embryo of an idea....

Flame me if you think it's b***s***.
  • I dont know if this is allowed but I am going to suggest it anyway.
By my reckoning, investment is whats needed and I'm no business woman. There are 108 in the Matrix and we all invested say £30, that would take care of the bank or there abouts, I would'nt have a problem doing this for MG. If this is a cheeky suggestion I apologise in advance, but this thread and the people in it are a constant source of support, help and suggestions, plus positivity which is liberating.
I'm not a marketing person or a guru or an anything in particular but I have a huge heart and I really can't think of anything else that would generate enough cash to help.
Again if I've offended anyone with suggesting this, I apologise,
I've been hovering over the 'submit reply' button for half an hour, so here goes.

I was thinking this too. I am not able to do anything for collecting kits for kids from Australia but would be more than happy to donate something towards freight - and also to get rid of the bank hovering over MGs head.

Great idea - I think these will probably be more popular than football earrings!

    Good luck

No I think its amazing, like I said I get ideas but am totally carp at expressing them properly and I tend to think and work emotively which is bad when it comes to business,
  • Right... I have fixed the link in my email post...thanks for pointing it out to me Groatie Queen! :)

I'm another one who would be prepared to invest in a fund to help people in need of a financial boost to get their lives turned around for the better. As I am unable to offer any assistance from a time (and lack of energy) point of view in the current projects it would make me feel as though I am starting to do something useful to help others.

I did realise last night that although I've set a December deadline for me having caught up with myself, there's no reason why I can't try to be sorted sooner. I'm dying to come and play!

The universe is helping me greatly and pointing me in the direction of people who can do the maintenance work on my home in interesting ways. And breaking tasks up into 15 minute sessions is working really well and my productivity is much improved.

There was also a lesson in negative thinking this morning. I have fortnightly blood tests and normally just grin and bear it but today just as the nurse was about to stick the needle in I said "I hate having this done" and of course from thereon in it all went horribly wrong and she had to start again in my other arm!
