Right, I've done quite a bit of the easy stuff for Bristol, but I won't have any more time between now and tuesday. Where do I sent it do? Who wants to finish it? Sorry to be a PITA x

It's the part where it has to be received by Tuesday that I cant get my head round. Even if I personally had the money sat here to send to a bank account to pay for it, it wouldnt arrive by Tuesday.

I'm clearly not thinking the correct way here :o

    Hi Jos,

Its the list of bits and bobs and contacts that MG needed for various groups of people.

If you're happy to finish it off, then PM me your email and i'll send it over.

Sorry to be unreliable, but I thought it was better to mention it now rather than Tuesday morning.

It needs sending back to MG - she will give you an email addy x

50 minutes and counting actually ----

but I've got a germ of an idea that I think satsifies all of his criteria

Pays £250+ for Olives Airfreight - this is a seafriehgt cost. air freight would be £1k +
    Clears the bank
    Done by Tuesday night

uses the power of the people on here - and their connections - and would only take everyone 15 minutes.

Need to go crunch some numbers

    Back soon

    MG

PS Olive - you need to write a Management book about this whole process - and how from little acorns - lol

airfreight is costed per kilo, and we (me & Olive) worked out 10,000 shirts would be aobut 1700. Then there is the boxes and other bits of donated kit.

  • A couple of suggestions....

Can you raise "equity" (is that the technical term??? Where's an accountant when you need one) by letting the matrix invest in Memory Girl Plc, in the expectation of dividends in the future when you are a world famous trainer?

Sponorship is a great idea for the Air Freight. Or anything connected with airlines and frequent fliers....

Amusing thought...why don't you ask the Corporate Sponsorhip bit of the black horse bank for sponsorship - is that what Alanis Morrisette would call ironic?:p

I have absolutely no clue .... watching, practically lurking .... very curious, and a little humbled, to think there's so much going on in support of this idea.

    Hey Jo

One of the things that's come up in this thread and the make do and mend one was how difficult it is sometimes to accept things. If I were you I'd be delighted and bank it, and send them a lovely card explaining how you spent it with your DD.

MG I haven't got a clue about the mentor challenge. The only thing I can think of is if we all pool our air miles, loyalty points, if we all collectively gave something small, or if someone donated a prize and we had a lottery?! Can't wait to see what the mentors say :D

thats a good idea, I can donate jewellery if we go down that route
