Getting rid of flies

I use Tesco Sunflowers for flies in the kitchen , they are impregnated with something that kills all flying things and you just stick them on the window... they come in a flat cellophane wrapper 2 in a pack just like a pic of a sunflower on cellophane , I can't remember what they are actually called but they are with the fly and ant sprays usually... they work fine although you do get a pile of dead flying things on the window sill.....:rotfl:#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Yuk flies are so gross!
I use a product from rentokill. It looks like a thick magic marker style pen and you draw it on to windows or wherever the flies might land. It it clear and odourless. As soon as the fly touches it they drop dead within seconds. Its very good and it has lasted for ages. I re-apply it when i clean the windows. I think I bought it from Morrisons or possibly Asda. Net curtains at the window, perhaps?
And you can get beaded (or strip) doorway curtains so that while flies may find it more difficult to get in and out it won't slow your dog down at all.

Well, I would appear to be more environmentally friendly than the rest of you!
This sorts 'em out for me:
It may not be fast, but it's surprisingly efficient. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Only rotting flies. _pale_ :rotfl:
None whatsoever, from the flowers or the flies. I've had it about three years. Mrs_Pepperpot gave it to me as a house-warming present. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
