I think you are trying to be antagonistic. You are definitely not reading my posts in the context of what was said before. If you think that women aren't brought up to expect and men to be providers then your not living on this planet. It is a crude way of putting it but if you want a more refined analysis then read my other posts before you lambast.

so saying all women take... and all men give- no sir, you are not in the real world. i dont know where you are in the world, but it sounds like you must have been somewhere were they still beilive this. You got done over, and in my opinon, you deserved it, if you spoke to her like you speak on here she must have tried to get as much as possible and then leave-dont blame her, and as dmg said- you sound as boring as sin.


edit:as a woman, i wasnt brought up like that, so you must know some horrid women but not all women are like that, and i find it offence that you beilive this.

Men since the dawn of time have been seen as providers and women provided for. That is just a fact and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that as long as each party does their bit.

You're right, this has been the way since the dawn of time. Until fairly recently. But fortunately times change and many millions of women now provide for themselves and their loved ones.

Why is it then that living in the UK i see women being provided for up and down the country. I don't see it the other way.
Single women provide for themselves until they get married and or have children. Look around you.

ON the other hand..i dont see many men staying at home(so someone has to look after kiddes and have you seen childcare costs and the amount of tax lost if both earn) but when they do i wonder to provides for them.... THE WOMEN!
