Cheaper Oil for Fuel?

54.99 for 500 litres from the Oil club (plus vat). I don't think it's going any lower for a while.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

We ordered our oil on Tuesday evening and it was delivered yesterday afternoon costing 55.55p a litre. The price had went up from Tuesday morning to Tuesday evening and it has increased even more since.0

For us in South Wales I find that Star Multifuels http://www.starmultifuels.co.uk really competitive on their prices (not sure what their current price is though per litre) but its their customer service that I feel makes them stand out compared to others and they offer mini oil deliveries.0

Have a virtual pint on me :beer:0 -
Just priced up through the usual WebOil for 2000 litres and checked Boiler Juice out of interest... Suprisingly Boiler Juice came in a couple of quid under for a change instead of being ££s adrift.0

Ah!, someone else with a big oil tank. I buy once per year some time between May and September when prices tend to be low and I'm not being pushed into a hasty purchase by freezing weather.
I'm told that that leaves me more at risk from oil theft but it hasn't happened yet - usually they target farmers around here.0 -
56ppl today when buying 600 ltrs.
Usually wait till I need a 1000 ltrs but the weather is so mild still thought best buy now before the price rises with demand0 -
Me too. But of course once the tank gets down below halfway (2250 ltrs) I start monitoring prices and top up if I think it's dipped to a low point.Ah!, someone else with a big oil tank. Theft? One or more of:
* most important is to have someone at home for as much time as poss in the weeks following delivery (thieves follow delivery trucks and target recently filled tanks)
* foliage growing over/hiding the tank
* tank out of sight from the road
*Yale Bunded Oil Tank Alarm
* Watchman alarm
* CCTV
