Cheaper Oil for Fuel?

I joined http://www.oil-club.co.uk/ a while ago and have just used it to order 500 litres @ 59.7p + vat when my local group + other local groups were put together to make up one order of 8000 litres.
The oil company contacted me direct and asked me to pay upfront and it will be delivered in the next few days.
It seems a decent price and place to buy from.
The next cheapest (after ringing and emailing all the suppliers) was Boilerjuice @ 61.9 for 1000 or 500 litres. With a 10 day wait and going into the group buy savings (maybe if they get enough)Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
I've just ordered 500 litres and the cheapest we could get was 63.9p + VAT (total £335.48). I was told prices have come down slightly (eek!) but it's still the most we've ever paid (North Wales area)0

I'm on N.Wales/Cheshire border... We recently had a a flyer from weboil . com. Having previosly played one Oil co against another I thought I'd have a look.
And I wasnt to be dissapointed.
All our heating Oil is now from them and looking at the Derv & Red prices my Diesel will be coming from them aswell when I'm ready to order come late May ish..
Just had a quote for the 500 litres of Heating as per the guy above and it comes all in at £298.73... and the usual 2000 Litres comes in at 1134 Inc vat.0 -
I ordered yesterday at 56.6 p/l (North Yorks)0

So the question now is, is it worth hanging on into summer and hoping it comes down further.......0

Just checked Boilerjuice and it's now at 54.33 for 1000 litres!
Not sure why it's coming down so fast.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Hmm... buy now or wait....
My local supplier gives a (similar) online quote that is valid fo 24 hours.
That gives the opportunity to compare the next day's price. If it is up, I can buy at the reserved price; if same or down, I get another quote valid for another 24 hours....0
