I think we should give Cameron a break. Why give money to those who have a good income already?
We need to have cuts and this, although is not perfect is at least a start ..... whenever anything gets cut people get all up in arms - yes there will be losers, but it is impossible to have a 100% fair system. Things are tight and we need action... I would personally introduce it earlier.0 -

This is only a tiny item amongst many. That one suspects will be a major overhaul of the expenditure of Public money.
defence and the 'social protection' benefits are more important.

There is a cut off for free school meals.
There is a cut off for WTC and CTC.
There is a cut off for childcare help.
There is a cut off for EMA.
There are cut offs for student loans and means tested student grants.
All those cut offs apply where you lose at least a chunk of the benefit for earning £1 over the limit. They are all benefits that you only get if you have children, or they go to the children based on the parents income.
Now there is one more - CB.
