PS is us losing it and not moaning justification enough?0 -
As i have said before I suspect the argument will be if you can afford to have only one person working in family then you do not need the benefit. To an extent I can see the point but they should have started th paln once a child reaches school age.
I would also argue for single parents but as the Tories are all about families etc then not surprised they have not thought about the single parent.Maybe they think the single parent should get help from their own family.. parents.. grandparents... whatever. I'd tend to agree.
and get some help from the child's other parent.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Political commentator said earlier if he was a betting man, the odds would be 90% in favour of a U-Turn or a change. So don't think we have heard the end of this. It's just a balls up.
it's not the best approach.
Labour's policy has it's faults too but they didn't make this change the Tories did.0 -

Politics aside. Its good to see someone with the b**** to take the challenge on.
Debt reduction isn't going to win popularity contests but is a necessity.
If you've ever had to make staff redundant. You'll know the feeling well. As its all for the good for the future. Even though you have empathy with those affected.
Armchair critics should become councillors or run sizable budgets themselves before passing scorn on others.0 -

This is only a tiny item amongst many. That one suspects will be a major overhaul of the expenditure of Public money.
