Have to say, for a 4-night getaway in Europe, I can easily fit all the clothes I'm taking, plus a kettle, hairdryer, hair straighteners, phone and camera chargers, and my limit of toiletries, in hand luggage.
For a longer trip, as I travel with my young daughter, I would probably take one hold bag between us. I've never paid for priority boarding, and never had a problem getting seats together.0 -
I've often sat in amazement on a short FR flight to London and watched people spend more on a hot pannini, a box of Pringles and a drink than they've probably spent on the entire flight yet will whinge constantly about having to pay €5 for online check-in.
I'm currently trying to research what chemical it is in the human body that suddenly makes them hungry the instant that an aircraft door is closed.
Wish me luck.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I use Easyjet from Luton to Paris CDG - excellent flight times for me both outgoing and incoming, and although we have been delayed by about 20 minutes incoming (on a Saturday afternoon) we had made up time by the time we arrived at Luton. To be honest, I don't consider a delay of anything up to about half an hour to be much of an inconvenience. We've not been delayed at all on the outbound commuter flights so far.0 -

Those Boots Meal Deals @ £3.49 do the trick for me.
I've had quite a few very nice and very inexpensive trips thanks to Ryanair. Who in turn have helped to develop Air Asia. I've also enjoyed quite a few trips with them.0 -
This man speak the truth.
Three weeks in Thailand this Christmas courtesy of a Ryanair and two Air Asia flights each way for a family of four saving BIIIIIIIIIG money.
I really don't understand why - on a website devoted to saving money - so much flak is given to a man who has probably saved more money for more people than anyone else in Britain ( with the exception of Martin, of course. )
Okay, so O'Leary is blunt and doesn't suffer fools gladly but then I don't expect Mother Theresa to be in charge of an airline.
We should come on here to praise MOL not bury him.0 -

Perhaps you could also research why it is that so many people don't like using the lavatory in the airport and have to wait until they have just got on to the aircraft, often before the damn thing has even taken off.0 -

Perhaps you might also come across why I get an instant urge for a Bloody Mary every time I step onto a long-haul flight, yet never drink the stuff at any other time.
It's so predictable that I even take my own bottle of Tabasco sauce and some packets of pepper to spice the drink up a bit.0 -
This thread is laughable. Why on earth are people getting into personal insults about a man they have never met, and whom is simply offering advice and guidance to others on how to save money? I'm travelling with EasyJet next month and won't be paying for any unecessary extras either, simply as I'm savvy enough and don't need/want to.
Well done Bob, you sound like you've had a great time flying around visiting your friends, and all on a budget - even better!0 -
There's a lot to be said for checking-in online!

Don't fret, laidback, our friend Nobjocki hasn't told us yet what gave him the notion that Ryanair have a 100% safety record. Clearly some things escape his notice, or else he simply meant nobody died yetfair comment nobjoci,i am clearly not on the same level as you intelectually, this is quite clear by your choice of username.
