Token services from Heathrow / Gatwick to Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and some subsidiary flights around Scottish Islands doesn't constitute support for regional airports in my opinion. The likes of Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2, FlyBe, bmiBaby, Thomas Cook, Thomson and British Midland all outdo BA in that regard.
But you cannot take any of them to far flung places so BA outdoes them in that regard.
Look i Love ryanair for the cheapness but to be slating BA because they dont serve the Uk is what i was pointing out was wrong."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

I never knew Inverness was in London but i guess your geography is better then mine.
BA only fly scheduled routes into Heathrow/Gatwick and City Airport.
Inverness is not on the BA route network.0 -

Anyone else a wingman?? :A
My reason is because I often have tight public transport connections, I sit in the front row with extra legroom (get it 90% of the time) so like this trip I'm ahead of the crowd and am through for instance Cork airport in 4 mins and catch the 7.56am bus instead of the 8.56am bus.
I just can't understand the way that people f*rt about getting on and off planes seemingly not noticing the 188 people behind them. Just bang the bag overhead or under the seat and get the h*ll out of the aisle, how is that difficult?0 -
:rotfl: I agree about the faffing about in the aisle

But surely now the weather has turned you must get cold knees up there in 1A waiting for all that faffing to finish and the doors to shut, Bob?

It can get a little chilly but at least I've got those (female) flight attendants to look at rather than the back of the seat in front
and I don't have an hour's wait at a freezing cold bus stop  with nothing more to look
forward to than my 4 quids worth of FREE Pret a Manger sandwiches when I get in to town, Thanks again for that freebie MSE . :EasterBun:0 -

And i never mention Gatwick at all as that is outside the M25 so generally not classed as London. It isn't even called London Gatwick either unlike Luton. which you forgot to add to your list
Luton - Bedford
So why didn't you mention Gatwick??
Oh, because that would have messed up your childish argument.
The fact is, that Stansted may be more convenient for some than Heathrow or Gatwick.0 -
