My 1st time I was 63 hours - yes im not joking
2nd time term plus 16 days (yeap 16 overdue) my waters went in a massive gush one push later out he popped
I had the drip with both so I guess my experience shows you can react differently each timeMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -
I have been induced 5 out 6!!!
All 5 took ages (up to 7 days:eek:) to get going bbut quicker and quicker once in labour.....even then my shortest labour was 4 hours
Good luck, you know whatever happens its all worth it in the end anyway:DDetermind to make a better life for ME and my children

Hi. The first time round i was induced and labour lasted about 7 hours from start to finish, the second time i was induced and labour lasted about 4 hours from start to finish. i have to say though that the last stage before birth was quick, and alot quicker the second time round. I was told if i had another he/she would come out like a bullet...I stopped at 2 :-)MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

I was induced first time - total length of labour 5 hours 44 minutes. I am being induced again next month and have already asked the midwife who said it should be the same or shorter next time0
