  • Hey everyone.
I too was excited to book 2 tickets for the artist, but I noticed on the ticket it says 'mail on sunday'. does this mean we need to cut out a coupon from a copy of it?
I found a link on their website (can't post it as a new user.. just try using google) - but it says to present the page... not sure if its a digitised copy of something that is in the paper and its just giving more t&c - anyone got any answers?
I'm assuming that since most the tickets are still there, there might be a coupon tomorrow?

yes, i see what you mean!.. it does say 'the mail on sunday' on the tickets.. i bought the mail today just in case and couldnt see anything in there about it, so ill check out the paper tomorrow (and next sunday).. i did print off the page from the online mail today because as you noted, it did say 'you need to present this page', just in case its not there tomorrow and thats the page i needed !... im thinking that if i cover all bases then there shouldnt be a problem ! thanks for the heads up on that.. im really looking forward to this movie. :)

I recently saw 2 films from showfilmfirst and they had a Guardian logo on it, however the cinema did not ask for any ID or newspaper clippings. Most cinemas might not care too much about this.
  • Yeah, there's prob a good chance they won't ask to see it.. but knowing my luck I'd get the awkward person.
I'm just really looking forward to seeing the film - and even better if its free as London prices are ridiculous!

Thanks for putting these up as i manged to get both. I had a question as i've not been to event such as this before how do you get in, as are they are not formal tickets (with such info as seats ect.) and in the 13 cast it say not to contact the box office direct.

    Thanks in advance.

is this for a movie? if so then seats are first come, first served. hand your print out to the normal ticket collector, not seller. get there at least 30 mins before the movie starts. oh, and smuggle in your own drink and sweets ;)
  • Thats the thing its not a cinema as ive been to them before but these are free tickets to paid events with there own tickets.

Saw Puss In Boots, at Apollo Piccadilly.

A bag of popcorn and bottle of water on the seats, fun and games, for the kids, did enjoy movie, 8/10.

I missed out on 1st/2nd wave Puss tickets. Luckily I got the Alvin ones. Never seen so many people for a film preview. Empire was huge!!

The Apollo is very cosy, brightly blue lit and comfortable seats! Saw 50/50 there recently.
  • Went today to see alvin & the chipmunks chipwrecked via natwest in birmingham.Had a little dissappointed 8 year old when we were told when handing the ticket over that is it was in 2d and not 3d and that natwest had got it wrong.
Did anyone else have this or was it just in birmingham and them blaming natwest ?
  • we had the same, in Plymouth. 3d expected, 2d screening. The security guards taking out tickets (not normal vue staff) seemed surprised when I asked about glasses as I was expecting 3d.
