It was the same in Norwich too - I brought my 3D glasses along then noticed that they weren't handing any out.

Security was quite tight - we had to turn off our mobiles on the way in and there were two people checking the rows for any suspicious activities. One of them had night vision equipment too!

I hadn't realised that Alvin was supposed to be 3d. I'm glad it was 2d as I had my 3 year old who is just getting the hang of movies!

Thanks to the person who posted "13" at the National Theatre, really enjoyed it. ALso I was a bit concerned with the ticket collection since SFF were adamant that we "do not contact the box office" on the website, but it was actually very easy as there was a person with the tickets allocated for SFF who spotted me immediately and gave me the tix :)

I went to see Chipwrecked in Cardiff with my parents who are both pensioners and they really liked it. I thought it was funny and enjoyed it too. This showing was also in 2D. I'm surprised Natwest did not notify us about this mistake though? I would imagine there were some disappointed children. No freebie food, drink or face painting in Cardiff. I can only assume that the lights are left off in some cinemas now before the film starts due to the night vision cameras? Everyone was struggling with their children to find seats, a bit silly really :)
