    Hiya,
I just got tickets to see the NYE film through SFF. It shows the 'Heart' radio logo when getting tickets...
On the ticket itself it says you may be required to show the page or voucher printed in the promotion. I'm guessing it might me a magazine or such like. Do I 'need' this? And where Was it printed so I can purchase it if it is needed?!
    Thanks for any help!

No magazines needed for a radio screening, certainly not in this case.

I was just wondering the same thing, just got tickets for the Guardian showing of shame. Have they ever asked for a copy of the Guardian page. If so will pick one up now?

It did state in The Guardian that the relevant page from paper dated 1st December is required at point of entry. However, it is extremely rare although not unheard of,for people to be asked to hand in the page.

Can I ask you about the code you have posted in Cinema codes, is it a play or a film? The tickets have all gone so I cannot check for myself.

The reason I ask is that there is a dedicated thread for theatre codes (which is not used enough and as such gets lost)

This is where you can find it

  • Sky Rewards in their terms always state that you should bring a photo ID, but they never ask or check. It's too much hassle for them I think and it delays screening.

I don't know how often it happens but with NYE, Shame and Puss the same codes are recycled with more tickets. (1st, 2nd and even 3rd waves)

Normally an additional code (or more) is put out for the same film.

I keep trying for Puss In Boots but unlucky!!!

We've already established that you haven't been going to Sky previews for long so please don't generalise and say "Never" when it comes to asking for photo ID. Sky are actually one company that do on rare occasions ask for photo ID. Mostly it is for high profile films. However, it isn't unheard of for them to ask at run of the mill films as they did at one venue fairly recently.

In a similar vein, Sky do check printouts against a list of names and their representatives check the ID number when they do their paperwork at home after the film.

BTW I see that you posted in the Theatre codes thread but can I just point out the reason why "newbies" are not allowed to post links and it has nothing to do with being a "bank"?

A board of this magnitude attracts a large amount of spammers and it was regularly targeted especially by bots and those posting !!!!!!. The introduction of newcomers being allowed to post links was brought in to thwart this.

More tickets being available on a code isn't new as such which is why we have always encouraged people to check the codes regularly and why we didn't use to post on the codes thread, that more tickets were available. However, what is relatively new, is tickets being released in tranches which is a fairer way of issuing them imo

One thing to be noted is that Sky do put cancelled tickets back into the public pot so to speak whereas SFF don't. They tend to offer their returns to VIP members first if anything.

Can people who has issues with each other please use the PM service? This is a Cinema Chat Board not a 'b1tching board'

After a little drought I managed to bag tickets for 'Shame' yesterday.. hope the flood gates are about to open again :D

Is it just me, or is the "In Darkness" code that was posted earlier coming up as "available" on sff, but no way to select it and book tickets?

That might mean it's not live yet
