May be it's time to think about Monkeys:

Angry ones in Rise of the POTA and sad ones in Project Nim.

Has anyone seen the Iranian film A Separation? I watched it this week -paid :(- but I really recommend it although some will not like the subtitles.

I saw it a short while ago but hadn't had any sleep and really wasn't in the mood for it. I was in the minority though, as audience seemed to love it.

    pig let cool
posted a SFF code in the codes thread, from Glamour but it's inactive-- might it be because only subscribers were able to get Glamour today (I got mine but havent looked for the code yet)..? not sure when it's released for sale. Just wondering...

Maybe someone could add the locations as it would be a great help and stop people who won't have a screening close by from wasting their time trying it every few minutes :)

Found the code in Glamour. It only states "1 in 10 Odeons in the country" and the code shows as invalid on SFF so I s'pose we have to wait until it becomes active ...

Again, you have me mixed up with someone else I think or maybe a different thread entirely?? Nobody (least of all me) ever said anything about expecting the old or infirm to shift out of their seat??!!

Just so you know, I'm always one of the first to give my seat up on a bus or tube or wherever for someone else, whether they be elderly, infirm, or able-bodied!

And at the screening of Cars 2 the other week in Leicester, my son and I moved (at his suggestion because he spotted them - I was very proud of him) to an inferior seating position so a family of four with young children (and NO they WEREN'T LATE!!) could sit together.

    :)

In all fairness, if the 'eldery and infirm' or whatever other people can manage to go out and get to a cinema by whatever means, they can all manage to shift their butts a seat or two. There are no concessions with these screenings. Our cinema attendants spend alot of unecessary time asking people to move along. Just a bit of common sense and good manners required by everyone attending. Enough said.

    Many thanks, I didn't realise that. :T
  • Just back from POTA, if you have tickets for tomorrow am, worth the haul out of bed and going to see this movie. Really enjoyed this film, gave credibility to the old Planet films and liked the links this film had to the old films. Momentous, go see.

    Finally, another voice of sanity!
