you have to register with Virgin Movies First, once registered just keep your eye on the page, they offer tickets once a month :o)

Thanks! How do you register though? Is it just a case of checking on the page and they don't actually notify anyone by email?

Well, I kind of got a tad confused when I was registering......so I gave them a ring and a little chappy sorted it for me over the phone! I'd do that if I were you - it doesn't take very long, and of course if you ring 150 it's free! And yes, just check the page, the only one I've ever been notified for was Transformers 3D. They usually tell you a few weeks before on the page what date you can claim them from. So you just go back on that date, and it links you through to SFF, ta da! Hope you get registered ;o)

Cheers for that. I've managed to get tickets for films before so I must be registered already but obviously they don't like me enough to send emails! Will just have to keep checking the site every month. I got fed up of checking for those Transformers tickets though! :rotfl:

it took me 3 1/4 hours to get ours!! it was worth it though, good movie :o) I don't think they'll be doing it that way again though, telling people in an email they were available from a certain time, it was a right farce

Noticed that there doesnt seem to be many codes released lately, went through a phase of getting at least 2/3 a month, espcially Showfilm first. Just been on their website and it has change slightly are they not doing it anymore?

    Missing my free cinema trips:(

I noticed that. I even emailed them to ask them if my details are still up to date and I'm still getting emails? No reply from them.

I was wondering if it was just Milton Keynes that had a problem. I know they stopped being shown at Cineworld right after the Made in Daghenam showing. There was a problem with the time, it started showing at six, but all the tickets said 6.30. So they had to start it again.

You were surprised at all the people that complained. I got an extra 30 mins film in my view :)

After Love and Other Drugs was shown at the Odeon, I've had no offers since. And the most recent offers of Horrible Bosses didn't even have the option for Milton Keynes I'm wondering if there's been some trouble or something.

Really? Are you saying that Sky only distribute their invitations via MSE?

Curious if true. I imagine there's a way of signing up for Sky invitations. Important though MSE is, I can't help feeling that Sky don't rely just on MSE.

I do hear from sky, but their email newsletter about it usually gets to me way after the MSE update on them by which time all the tickets have gone!

Have just tried to sign in and get tickets for the sky big give away but everything is gone...and I signed up for alerts of when they were released but got nothing! :(

    are you karayzeh? :rotfl:

Yeah I think your best chance is to look elsewhere, anyone who booked tickets from Sky would rather give them to friends/family than just cancel.

I've cancelled tickets for sky before now, so it is possible some one may cancel, just very, very unlikely! I'll keep trying every so often just in case!!!! Nothing to lose!
