    You're not. :)

I think the other response ignores the position that Virgin/Sky/TimesPlus/etc subscribers get notice direct of screenings. I wonder how many readers of the MSE thread who don't subscribe to Virgin/Sky/TimesPlus/etc are able to obtain tickets for those performances.

A nice round figure, I should think. ;)

Actually you're wrong, we don't get direct notice of films, i'm with sky and I nearly always find out about sky films from MSE than from sky direct

@ show me da money - how did you get on with your fake T3 tickets? I was dying to know if they let you in or not as when we got there they were checking names on the door at Odeon New Street. We got there at about 5.45 and about 10 mins later it was rammed.

Also, I agree that not everyone gets emails through straight away for sky and virgin showings -I for one rely on the thread to check sky for myself and virgin for my mother-in-law. I'm not a times subscriber and it doesn't bother me to have to read their posts. At the end of the day its worth getting emails daily even if I only get to go to the cinema free once a fortnight or even once a month! Thank you to the kind people who continue to put codes/alerts on for the rest of us :)

Really? Are you saying that Sky only distribute their invitations via MSE?

Curious if true. I imagine there's a way of signing up for Sky invitations. Important though MSE is, I can't help feeling that Sky don't rely just on MSE.

Tickets released again for Beginners, at the Curzon, but the screening on the same night as Horrible bosses.

They don't send direct notifications, they just put it on their website. I assume it's to reward those people who visit their site regularly. I'm grateful to anyone that posts Sky links on here.

Sky do send emails out, but for example Harry Potter was alerted to me on here at 5:30, but the email went out at 7:30. So I had 2 hours head start.

Do people get notified about the Virgin preview screenings?

I've been a Virgin user for several years but haven't received any emails about the free screenings.
