If the majority of what most people are saying about trailers and spoilers seems to be true, WHY ON EARTH would anyone go and see a film IF they've ALREADY READ THE BOOK, OR it's a REMAKE, OR it's based on a TRUE EVENT and similarly the story is already known ?

BTW, at the end of Titanic ... the ship sinks

And in both WWI AND WWII - Germany lost :rotfl:

where was your spoiler alert? ive yet to hear about the war or watch titanic!

i love forums, no matter what genre, same stuff gets argued and taken out of proportion

    keep up the good work

:eek:Does anyone know how you are supposed to use the vouchers for the BAFTA screenings? Do you take them along to get them in advance or do you just turn on the night and keep your fingers crossed?

From what I read, some cinemas are letting you get tickets in advance but others aren't. Remember there will be people out who don't know about these vouchers who will pay to see the films. I am going to Cineworld Glasgow tonight to see Animal Kingdom but am going to try to get tickets for Inception for Tuesday. Will report back what happens.

    Hi

has anyone else had problems with the Sky Kids 3D booking?

I'm a Sky customer & on their Sky Customers/Rewards/Events/Sky 3D Kids Club page it states "The final screening is on 24 February so don't forget to claim your free kids tickets soon for some half term family fun! "

But on the booking page it says: "The next film to be shown will be the amazing Alice in Wonderland from Thursday 17 February."
& when I try to book a film, it keeps asking me (With a Big Red Warning Triangle) to select a film, even though I've selected Alice in Wonderland (the only option).

I really wanted to take my neices to the screening today, as they've had bad half term with their mum in hospital.

Were the final screenings this morning by any chance. The webiste doesn't give times.

Any help would be really appreciated :)

EDIT: Don't worry I've found out the by scrolling the mini-pop-up window to the side, that the screenings were 11am :(

hi, i took them today & exchanged them for tickets for Toy Story 3 for sunday at 6pm. no problems exchanging them but was glad i had taken a printout of what the films & times were as he didnt seem to know that info but was aware of the screenings.

i just wanted to be sure we will get in as didnt want to promise friends daughter unless i was sure. i forgot to ask if its the 3d version but i dont think it as as the ticket doesnt mention it (think i'll take my glasses just in case though).

forgot to say it was Cineworld at Didsbury in Manchester.

Went to the Sky Kids screening this morning at Cineworld in Wandsworth and managed to pick up tickets for tomorrow's showing of The Social Network and Inception with no problems.:)

  • Further to optime's post over on the free tickets thread, hopefully we can pick this up here (before it's deleted), I'd like to agree with optime, I don't think sky films should be appearing on the FREE cinema tickets thread, while the tickets may well be free, Sky isn't. Given that there are more and more of these Sky tickets, maybe it's time a new thread was created for such tickets?

Hi folks, sorry if my posting Sky stuff on the codes thread bugged anyone. I tend to work on the idea that if anyone benefits then share the info.
Something you may want to try though- I had a friend not on Sky but who wanted to take advantage of the film offers. We found out that it was possible for him to register on Sky as a guest despite not being a sky customer. He was able then to book quite a few films.

However lately some of the sky offers have only been for people subscribing to sky movies so I cannot guarrantee this will help. You might want to try it though- you won't lose anything by trying;)

I don't object to Sky films being posted in free films, you don't always have to be a subscriber if there is not a high take up they are opened up to non-subscribers and if you have a kind friend or relative that can set up to 10 additional users on their accounts who can also book tickets - do you have anyone who can help you out like that.

What I do object to is people posting chat/discussion threads in the CODES ONLY thread, when there is a thread here for that purpose, use it people!!

I don't object to the sky films, just like I don't object to the London only films because I don't live in London. I doubt that anyone benefits from every screening posted, so who cares if you aren't eligible for one or two screenings?
