  • Yes, that's absolutely fine - as long as you are accompanying the children in a parent/carer capacity, any age child can see a 12A.

On edit: although you may need to get the name on the ticket changed if it has your partner's name on it, by emailing showfilmfirst or whoever's running the preview. Having said that, they hardly ever (never in my almost ten years of going to previews) ask for ID...

Managed to get a direct number to the cinema so decided to give them a call, the chap on the other end said that it shouldn't be a problem as I would be there. Just to clear things up for others I will be taking 3 children, 2 of them using my partners ticket - with it being a 12A which means that under 12 wouldn't get in without an adult, I just wanted to make sure that they would be able to use the ticket - had imagined showing up tomorrow and being turned away as an under 12 couldn't use the ticket (if you see what I mean!). Anyway hopefully all sorted and will enough a nice free film tomorrow:)
  • hi how do i get free tickets the only cinemaa is apollo any ideas
  • IANF... not a bad movie! some jumpy parts, some jokes and enough to keep you switched on... cant wait to see what's in the box!
  • I Am Number 4......BRILLIANT

Watched this at the Norwich Odeon, got in there at 6:00pm, a few minutes later with the cinema half full the screening started! i thought what the hell, its not ment to be on for 30 minutes, then 10 minutes in it stops! then loads more people come in that were told its started you cant come in! i thought this was totally stupid by odeon to start the movie early, not the first time this has happened either! think they need to employ some people with brains!

twig44, I was at that screening too. We got there just after 6 as the Orange ad was on and when the film started wondered what was happening! How daft!
  • Voucher (Pls thank Yinster for the white link)

Errr.. I'm thanking post #1814 for that voucher :D but cheers anyway, already printed and ready!
  • The previous years you went with your voucher(s) and got the ticket(s) for the performance(s) you wanted. This year like the last is running for a week !
    Best of Luck!

Just called up Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue and told tickets only available on the day of each screening! Previous years I've been able to take my vouchers and redeem for ALL films and get my tickets in advance.
Has anyone managed to get their tickets yet?

They must have had a change of mind! I agree with you about the past years, but also the past years they showed films they were still on the daily performances and this year is not the case. So, some changes.
I, personally, rushed to print the vocher( :mad:first the black and then the white one!) for nothing. Luckily I have seen what I wanted to see already and would not watch them again so soon after.
But it is a bummer because you will have to queue up... and be annoyed if you find someone you don't like is queueing as well :rotfl:
Thanks to those who help us to win !
