Did they ask if anyone had spare tickets? YES. Is doing this against the rules? YES!
You are not a board guide, so stop telling people that they are in the wrong. Point it out to either a board guide or MSE. It is not up to you to tell people they are wrong in every single post that YOU think is wrong. It's not just one or two posts, its starting to be every single one of your posts. Let's just say that such posts will now be monitored to the extent that they mimic a board guide.
Again, at least people are now aware that they have to carefully word their posts for you not to misinterpret that a request for spare tickets could have been a request for someone to let them know if they were going to return any. At least people now know who requests for their posts to be deleted.Invented tradition: Couponology

Why is it against the rule to exchange email addresses? Home addresses etc. I can understand, but email?
Genuine question.
Hi Nicky,
I'm assuming that this just boils down to personal details.
I suppose it's a disclaimer by MSE that in the event of anyone being harassed/stalked by an MSE user that MSE is protected by saying that it forbade exchange of any personal details (including email).Invented tradition: Couponology

Just back from my screening.
Cinema packed..... and I mean 105% occupancy.
We were on very front row - and we got there 15 minutes before start time !
What can I say about the film?! - just loved it.
Undoubtedly it has holes in the plot and flaws in the logic...... but I loved it.
Much more believable than Law Abiding Citizen more in the real world than Mission Impossible et al.
Plans go wrong, desperation sets it, the odds are stacked against them.... the legal system and the cops.
Fate lends a helping hand, then gives a cruel twist.
Loved it.
On the edge of my seat right to the end ( even though I had read some reviews so could guess at the ending!)
9 out of 10 from TOB
p.s MR Crowe showing his age.... then again, his character was supposed to be a middle class, average, law-abiding, not even got a parking ticket type of guy..... but they really didn't try to pretty him up..... like Mr Butler in LAC.0 -

I'm not 100% on that one i don't make the rules lol. I would imagine it is as Tibbs said and because some people would have their real name as part of their email address. Sorry I can't be more specific.:hello:0 -

I guess you can track a lot more personal information about a person when you have their email address 1) you can use it to find out more info and 2) some people have their full name in their email address which makes it even easier to find out more personal info.
Stalking someone by username isn't as easy...0 -

Thanks for posting.
I saw this advertised in the Total Film (TF) magazine, and thought typical that it missed out Aberdeen. I really must go and see this movie.
In the TF photos they showed on page 79, I thought they aged him by showing him alongside a much younger woman (I'm assuming this was his character's wife - they held hands and seemed to be running through a park - a guitar player was adjacent to them).
I think it's a good thing to see 'older' actors still be able to pull off these types of movies. For how much longer Crowe will be able to achieve this might be dependent upon his good life on his ranch - lol. Only time will tell.
With respect to Mr Butler in LAC, I really don't think they needed to 'pretty him up' - I think he looks like that naturally. It's the Scottish roots you see - we just can't help our genes - lol. Lorweld will tell you it's the same for the Irish - just look at Cillian Murphy - lol. It must be some Celtic-connection - lol.Invented tradition: Couponology

Just for those who screen posts - I did not stalk Lorweld to track his location - lol.
It says 'Location: Ireland' in his descriptor box - lol.
Just wanted to clarify in the days of post clarification.Invented tradition: Couponology
