The deal was that if you continued onto a paid month, you'd get 6 Cineworld tickets. So if you cancelled during the trial, no tickets for you :).

It's starting to look fishy to me.

    Just finally got an answer:

"Thank you for contacting us and I'm delighted to confirm that you have indeed qualified for the 6 months of Cineworld cinema tickets.

The promotion is operated on our behalf by a company called Filmology and, as per the offer terms, you will receive confirmation through the post within 28 days, explaining how to redeem you tickets and the full Cineworld terms and conditions."

I've not replied to the PM as I know what I want to say would get me banned from the site.

I cant believe 'some people' could be so downright selfish!

They're not FMUK codes, they are codes from what ever company is sponsoring them, and it just happens someone from FMUK has found them... FMUK DO NOT OWN THE CODES!

I'm not from Birmingham so I cant comment on the sterotypical behaviour this selfish FMUKer has branded you all with, but I have a strong feeling that cases like that also happen on FMUK too, unless FMUK has banned all people from Birmingham, or all the areas they have decided waste a lot of tickets....

Enough said. Simple Answer to the PM..... NO!

It sounded to me that they were annoyed that people on here get tickets, then, when they can't go, can't give them away on here, so they're wasted. Can you give/swap on FMUK?

yeah you can swap, if you want a ticket or can offer one, you just make a thread in their swapping area and people contact you.

I gave my tron legacy tickets away. someone offered narnia tickets this morning, i was the first to reply and i still havent hard from them which is a shame. i would have like to see it tomorrow
  • Argh I'm so gutted. I've been trying to get the Tron tickets @ Greenwich for ages now via the Sky site, been a customer for ages but was probably a second too late. I know they're all gone now but I'm really just hoping someone might cancel theirs, unlikely though.
  • Yeh im desparate to get tron tickets for london too. I think you have to be in the popular gang on fmuk. It seems people on there just take multiple tickets just to give them to other high post members on there.

i know some prefer regulars on fmuk to swap tickets with but i've given (cos i couldnt make it) and recieved tickets and i've not been there long, i've got like 5 posts. just join the forumn and keep an eye out for stuff you'd like. here's the link to where poeple offer tickets http://www.fmuk.org.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=8
  • Yeah, I registered on FMUK not so long ago, too little too late though, and as a newcomer my posts have to be approved first, not to mention I feel a bit guilty for just going in there and asking for tix without first participating somehow. Well I've learnt for next time I suppose, best be prepared when another blockbuster comes along, and have my trigger finger ready lol.
