    Hi,

I popped into a couple of different stores this week. Not as many bargains as the ones reported on here but did find a few bits and happy with what I did buy:

Limited maternity collection top £3 (rrp £22),
Autograph 3 month old dress £3 (rrp £14)
Indigo 3-4 year old girls top £1 (rrp £8)
Autograph baby/toddler girls long sleeve top & trousers £5
baby/toddler boys long sleeve top & trousers £5
    baby trousers £1 (rrp £5)
    soap dispenser £1 (rrp £7.50)

Alot of other items were still quite expensive in my opinion. One per una top was marked at £12 (rrp £25), took to till to price check and it was £9. I would only have brought it for £5 as I've alot of clothes already. :o
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)

Very small rail of Managers Reductions in Swansea Oxford street (near the Per Una area) but not much left & prices quite high - ladies item only, dresses @£5, skirts & tops for £3, but very little left.

All the sale items in the store in Hemel were reduced to £1 they didn't have much left
  • Thank you for heads up on managers reductions:T
I went M&S Thursday and got a few things not as cheap as the items I got in the last sale but still cheap.
Most things I got were for my mum so Im hoping she will like them all.
Best buys would be two leather belts for £3 each, Limited collection top for £3 and an Autograph jacket £9.
Went to another store yesterday while I was out shopping and they had a couple of rails left and I got some more items. Best would be 2x Per Una Cardi £9, Per Una jacket £9- should have been £60! and Autograph dress ( which matches the jacket I got perfectly) for £9

I can't believe my 1st post is to rant about M&S!

Re the posts about items being removed from sale orders, this also happened to me. I placed an order (from oz) as soon as sale started when most of the UK (apart from you guys!) would have been asleep and 7 days later get an email to say 6 items not now available (6 pairs of shoes) and had been removed so they expected me to pay £15 delivery to oz for really light, cheap things! I cancelled the order and emailed them to say how unhappy I was and how do they determine which orders get bumped and got the same generic reply back. I order from New Look, Debenhams and DP's regularly and get international delivery and have never had an issue. If something is not in stock surely a company like M&S should have an ordering system that can tell straight away if they can fulfil your items???

Anyway, sorry for the rant but its been bugging me for days now

Went along to my local M&S today - not much left.

They had a rail of ladies beach items/dresses/skirts/tops all £2. Mens ties £5. Some mens shirts and shoes.

    I got a beach dress £2 (rrp £25), 4x pants 50p each (rrp £1.50 each), liner?socks 50p each (rrp £2.50 each), 2 x 3pk black socks £1 each (rrp £6 each),

Sorry to hear about your experience. Sadly, it's far from rare. Their stock system (managed by Amazon) just cannot handle the volume of orders they get at sale times.

I've emailed, phoned and complained many times, but it doesn't really get any better.

I suppose I should just not bother any more - but some of the bargains are too good to just not attampt to buy. I try to tell myself that I probably won't get what I order, and that anything I do get is a bonus, but it's difficult when you order something you really really want!

This is the first and last time I will attempt to buy anything from M&S online.

I ordered a suit in their sale on 6 October. At the time of placing the order, their site said that there were "more than 10" in stock of the sizes I wanted. Received an order confirmation email - great !

A few days later, I thought i would log on to their website to see the status of my order but could not find it !!

Rang up their customer services only to be tod that my order had been cancelled due to no stock !!!!

    I told the advisor that
    1) It would have been nice if M&S had the decency to tell me rather than me logging on to find my order had dissappeared

    2) How can they be out of stock when there more 'more than 10' at the time of placing the order

Couldn't explain anything and said I should have received an out of stock email, didn't have a reason why I didn't receive one.

Shoddy customer service, terrible supply chain logistics - definitel one to avoid in the future.

    Shame on you M&S !
