Saw the Disney rags to riches dress full price in my local store, glad i didnt buy it, it is horrible. My DD has a cinderella rags to riches one from The Disney Store and it is lovely, the M&S one is not a patch on it.
Funny I saw that today too. Have to admit whether it was a new version or not, to have it in store at £25 when they were selling for £7 on the website it a bit of a joke.
Also saw the Snow White and a pink Disney Princess dress both at full price yet I got them in the Xmas sale just past for half price!!!!0 -
Harrogate store selling most sale items at £2 but not a great selection left apart from Ladies underwear0

i placed a big order for £170 taken 9days to get here and only £60 worth of stuff was actually delivered. in between items were taken off of my list but no emails to confirm what would be here. a tunic (adult) and girls clothes that i had ordered i saw for full price in my local store. i queried it and asked if it is possible that they should be half price and if so could i please purchase them in store as they had the sizes i needed. i was told no and that those items are not sale items and lo and behold they didnt deliver any of them  i am really annoyed as waited so long to see what would actually arrive and most of it is not here and yet the items i want are in town at full price so what sort of company is run like this :mad:0

I had an email yesterday to say an item is OOS and has been cancelled off my order, then another email today cancelling another item.
I can't believe how slow they are.
The last time I had a delivery from them the item was faulty and it's taken months to sort out.
I complained via their website and got a bog-standard email in reply saying:
''I'm sorry to hear some of the items were out of stock and cancelled. When you place an order with us you receive a confirmation email - this email only confirms that we've received the order, and doesn't allocate the items to you. Allocation only takes place when we take the payment and dispatch the items, and this is when you receive the second email. '
It was from an email address you can't reply to which means that if I wanted to respond to it I would have to start again via their website. I really hate companies who offer poor service then just send standard replies in response to any complaints.
I don't think I will bother with M&S sales in future. If you go on the site and it shows stock - it means nothing because you will only get your item if they have stock in a few days time - hence lots of people place orders and some people may not get what they ordered.
Seems a waste of the customer's time!
i wont be bothering with them again even as is it even really a sale if you order things and then they dont actually get delivered and when many of the items are full price and available in stores0 -
Manager's reductions in my local branch - men's underwear £1 (was £15), trousers £3 (£35), ladies' clothes £2 or £3.
Delighted to get DS 1 & 2 £100+ of trousers for £12, £30 of pants for £2 & DD a dress for £3 (£39.99).I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Well I placed two orders, one after the other at about 6am on the morning the sale started.
For the first one I chose nominated day delivery which was free of charge because my order was over £150 and for the second I paid the £3.50 delivery charge.
My nominated day delivery order arrived the following day with only a couple of items cancelled and my second order was cancelled completely.
I think the moral of the story is to choose nominated delivery as it gives you a far better chance of actually receiving any sale items.Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0 -
very scary post...........won't order anything from them online0

So frustrated
Placed my order for a load of new gym gear on 4th October as the sale was just starting. Arranged to cllect in-store today. Got back from holiday last night and have just read an email saying that my stuff has been delayed and won't be available for collection today after all. The email goes on to say that I will be contacted about another delivery date. However, when I look in 'My Account' the order has disappeared completely!
Not happy.
Just picked up a voicemail message that had been left by M&S while I was away. Asking me to ring an 0845 number 'about my order'. Spoke to a very nice lady who was extremely apologetic but confirmed that I would not be getting any of my order. (By the way, the people who deal with the online orders are not employed by M&S. They work for Amazon.)0
